A beautiful young damsel in distress climbs the wall of a secret garden, however, she slips and falls into the arms of her handsome young prince, and then there is love at first sight scene. Anastasia looks every inch a princess, with long golden hair, jeweled headband, and sporting a light pink dress. In this scene, Ahmed is technically not a prince but a king, or to be more precise an Ottoman Sultan. The only explanation as to why he looks more like a prince is because he just got recently crowned as a sultan at his coronation. However, by episode 7 his face is more mature, and he is starting to sport a beard. The reason for this is because the actress playing Anastasia got replaced by Beren Saat who few years older than the actor playing Ahmed. Therefore, Ahmed must look older otherwise Anastasia (later renamed Kosem) will look more like his aunt or mother rather than a lover. Around this time Ahmed does look more like a king, he reminds me of King Philip II of Spain. Kosem played by Beren Saat also looks like a queen; she reminds me of other Queens from other TV series for example Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn from The Tudors or Jenna Coleman as Queen Victoria from Victoria.
