Just for a moment the sound and visuals transported me back to a time when I was in an indie band and together we were just all so young and carefree, with our whole lives ahead of us. I wanted to stay in that moment and feel that joy again but then someone started cutting up onions somewhere and now I’m late for work
Lol this was really sweet and I think a lot of us can relate. I've found the best way to overcome the memories of our past is to create new ones. I think I need to stop cutting onions now too 😭
The vocals here in some ways reminded me of a band called english teacher. maybe you'll dig them too. I know random suggestions are skeptical but at least i'm a human element in this crazy algo world
Every few years, a Australian rock band filters through the airways to tickle my brain. Jet back in the early 00's, Violent Soho and The Spazzys when I was a teen, Midnight Oil and Hoodoo Gurus a few summers ago, and now these young gents. Thank you, Kangaroo Island, for your continued contributions to my playlists.
similar gratitude to the music scene from down under. different bands tho. i think wolfmother started it off strong for me 'back then' and having experienced Amyl and the Sniffers, C.o.f.f.i.n. life last year was defenitly a recreational blessing. aborted tortoise i didnt catch this time (but i will! xD) and the chats.. idk. i like the energy but i think they still feel a bit to "youth energy*ish" to me. if that makes any sense ^^ either way. thanks to what ever causes these steady musical eruptions from australia
I love the cranberries so that was a high bar for you to set but they definitely met it... RUclips just gave me another fye band to listen to and watch grow
Not even my type of music in my old age, but I gotta say it's actually really good. Cranberries and the Sundays vibes all throughout. Uplifting and positive. 2 thumbs up. Elevated my morning!!! The Guitarist writes great riffs!!!
Ok so between Peach Fuzz, Polkadot and this band I'm noticing an incredible trend of angsty indie rock making a pretty welcomed comeback. Instantly added to my Spotify playlist. I'll be checking out the rest of your stuff.
this is pure honey for my ears! this is gold pop. this is already a classic. best discovery of my day, the week, this month and hopefully of 2024. thanks youtube for suggesting me these guys!
One of the best song I've heard in last few years. Skilled players, catchy melodies, perfect natural singing - what else do you need? Would be happy to listen full album of such level.
I got a bit of Silversun Pickups vibes from it. Think there's a guitar bit in the opening of the Hoodo Guru's "I Want You Back" it's reminiscent of, too. A band also from Australia
Holy shit, this song just keeps growing and growing on me. The melodies and instrumentation are so good. This is my favorite new song I’ve heard in a long time
As some other comments have mentioned, I'm also here from the all mighty algorithm and I'm so happy it sent me here. Great sound - fresh yet comforting from my younger days in the 90s.
This is fantastic! I don't even remember how I found this video to put in my Watch Later but I'm so glad I did. Fantastic vocals, instruments, video, the whole vibe is perfect. The chemistry between the band members is palpable.
This reminds me of early 90s Juliana Hatfield/Helium/Breeders/Belly, and I mean that in the best way. Glad to still there are still some bands playing rock music! I wish y'all great success!
That riff is so fresh and irresistably catchy. I haven't even finished listening for the first time and I know it's gonna be stuck in my head for days!
I am so glad I scrolled back. I’m so glad I found this perfect song, thank you so much for creating this and thank you universe for having me cross paths with this song.
I've been listening to your music for a week and I really like it , you will become a popular group if you stay in this same energy, love from France 💙🤍❤
Great energy in the track. Love your voice Lucinda. Love that you haven't overlayed masses of tracks. Great guitar & drums guys. (I'd loose the 'tach Lewis!)
Thank you! I'm 28 years old. To know that there are people younger than me who have such depth gives me back my faith in the future of guitar-based rock music... Absolutely spherical, authentic and fantastically dreamy music. I wish you all the best! Warm greetings from Germany!
I really loved it!! Every component in the song is really well thought out and put together!! I love when youtube sometimes recommends things like this:)
There's a lot to like here. Great guitar and drum sound. Instruments and a mike all have cords...Capo...doubletime on the outro...very nice, keep it up.
Super nice. :~). I've seen your posters around RMIT! We must study close to eachother, or else someone random's been hanging them up. Thank you for the weird all-brown-and-beige-interior Australian rural house representation. There is not enough of it online.
You have a new fan... great track. Reminds me of a lot of the post-punk that became popular in the 1980s and then broke into the mainstream in the 1990s. Sundays, Cocteau Twins, Cranberries, also a band from D.C. called Velocity Girl. Also reminds me of Men I Trust.
This is what the RUclips algorithm is really for 🙌
*should be for .... jeez I'm on a "do not recommend channel" campaign recently.. but this great tune got through! so something's working properly :)
Seems like it’s about to blow up thanks to recommendations

So true, I thought I've heard this somewhere - now I know.
Was now saying the same. Same cranberries vibe.
Strokes if they had a female vocal. Love it
Never text and drive. Stay FOCUSED out there! Arrive home alive! Thanks.

That’s a good Song. The git riff makes a Great hook, interesting chords and a nice melody - well done😀👍
It's funny to see how carefree Liu Kang plays his guitar before a Mortal Kombat
Sweet all the way around with a clean quality sound; love her voice when it rises.
Ive heard that EXACT riff somewhere before. That last little lick in the seventh bar. The one at 0:09
