@@TheBunduBallerina thank 💕🎈 for your kind words.
You Will make a poet out of me, ha ha...
. I came up with a motto now "one minute of watching a ballet, one minute a day increases our overall health AND wellbeing".
It adds up...💕🎈
One can add an Apple...🍏
My favorite version of the gamzatti variation. Ekaterina Krysanova shines in all her glory. The orchestra interpretation of the variation sounds so dignified and magnificent by the brass in the main theme. Never heard it like that by any other orchestra.
I fully agree. It sounds icredible
I truly enjoy Krysanova dancing this Gamzatti Variation. She possesses great strength and mobility - - great control of her body and a great coordination. She has beautiful arm movements - - as well as spins.
Krysanova can dance anything beautifully and make it her own. There aren't many ballerinas who can make that claim.
0:30 - I’m in luv those turns!
So neat and beautiful 🤩
She is amazing 🌹🌷♥️❤️
Beautiful the re orchestration of this variation, with the predomination of the trumpet 🎺.
Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
I've never seen a purple tutu for Gamzatti, but it looks so great on her. She executes the variation so well and looks magnificent while doing it!
Krysanova is an excellent dancer with talent balance, high techniques and beauty!
She is so young in 2009 with brilliant technique, surprising beauty and wonderful feeling, and she is a great ballerina from Russia.
This is the best interpretation of perfection, beauty, and youthful vitality.
She is a DANCING FLAME!!! Bravo, bravo, bravo!
So beautiful! You can trace the Moscow School style in Krysanova's dancing. Bravo!
She's a true principal dancer! Such inspirational!!
Krysanova and kaptsova for me are the best in bolshoi
Great! She owns this role!
i could be watching her arm smoothness in 0:06 for ages
Amazing musicality - it’s so hard to time leaps like that! Beautiful dancing
Thanks for your lovely comments!
I agree wholeheartedly! Especially the turn at 0:06 which many ballerinas do not time properly. Krysanova shows not only breathtaking technique but also moving and flawless musicality.
The best prima in Bolshoi. Bravo.
Wonderful. Brava!!
That was enchanting.
BRILLIANT! LOVE HER! LYRICAL!
Stupenda ♥️♥️
So perfect.
Maravilhoso!!
Fabulous
Gorgeous !
The dance is good and the sound of the ochestra, especially, trumpet . Oh my god~~~!!!sooooo good.
What ochestra play this music??
Thank you. It is the Bolshoi Ballet Orchestra - one of the best orchestras in the world imo.
@@TheBunduBallerina Thanks for your reply and also thanks for the good vod. :)
@@sktotoro96 You're welcome :)
So beautiful
Wonderful port de bras!
I may be complete daft. She looks amazingly like Natalia Osipova. Anybody else notice that?
John Meyer if you’re talking about their dancing style then yes, both natasha and katya are pure moscow school. but if you’re talking about body type, not really since natasha is much more muscular
I would love to see her as Manon she is a wonderful dancer.
An absolutely gorgeous dancer, but I have yet to see this variation danced by a woman who has plotted to murder her rival during her wedding. Here you have this fantastic story of love and intrigue, but the story just stops for the dancing. Krysanova is brilliant; I would just like to see the story continue to be told through the dancing.
That's actually so true, I've been used to it, but in fact Gamzati damcers tend to fall out of their character in this variation usually! But Odette/Odille on the opposite usually stays true to her character. Sugar plum fairy is not so sugary as well most of the times, cause the variation is so long and usually packed with technique. And I'm sure there's much more examples of forgetting about the character arc in variations.
Good observation 👍🙂
Kkk thank you! When I teach variations class, I insist on character and storyline, otherwise, it’s just steps.
In some versions, however, it is Gamzatti's father, the Rajah, the one who has plotted to murder Nikiya. In Alexandrova's take on Gamzatti, for example, she is visibly disturbed and upset at Nikiya's poisoning; she wanted to win, to defeat her, but not to see her dead.
i am not That fond of ballets either with prolonged or too many stories I love in la Bayadere the PDD's,individual dancers, the enchanting Shades Act and that's what I watch, all beautiful.the rest too much drama AND no dancing.
AND great music!!
Swan Lake, etc.has to me a connected, continuing story
@@karennoble1168 You have put into words exactly what I have felt for a long time. It's a very, very 19th century ballet with a rather contrived story. I'm like you, I pick and choose what I want to watch in Bayadere. I have lost count of the number of Shades 1,2,3 that I have watched!!
♥️💋💙💕
Beautiful
But when did people start feeling the need to applause during the solo
🙄
*
What’s with the loud trumpeting 😂?
I think that is part of the Moscow style for La Bayadere and for Gamzatti role in particular. Big, brave and bold. When you compare it to Mariinsky or POB production, the music and the dancing style for Gamzatti is milder, more classical and elegant.
