600 miles of smiles on my Rave and it has been incredible. Suspension set on Normal and it’s deep without being too harsh. I’m able to use every bit of it in whooped out sections or big G-outs, yet attack most trail chatter at crazy speeds.
Going to install more aggressive carbides before the next ride.

Lynx Rave is more like the mx-z. Lynx has a "rival" to renegade and that is the Xterrain. Rave is designed mostly for trails and the Xterrain is designed for on and off trail riding. And they have even shorter variant of the Rave and it is the Rave enduro. It has 600 engine and it is 3300 long.

I know my trails very well and me and my son ride very hard and fast but safe. I ride a 04 rev 800 and my son has been riding his trail converted 09 mxzx 600rs since he was 12. I bought it from a racer that got hurt before the race season that year. For the last 10yrs people have been trying to keep up with us and haven't. I'm 57yrs old now he 26yrs old. I been thinking with my age that I might need alittle help this season with more speed. I think this sled will help me go faster more easily. My son said it sounds like a sled he will be ordering next year himself. Keep up the good work.

It’s so cool that Lynx is coming to NA. I was always curious if they were different enough from Ski-Doos to justify it, and I’m glad that they aren’t just a “badge engineered” curiosity.
I wonder if BRP had to wait until the trademark on a snowmobile called “Lynx” had to expire from Arctic Cat’s ownership or something like that. Also, when you have Cat/Yamaha essentially using the same sleds, how can you be mad when a company under the same umbrella does something similar?

Might've been part of the settlement from the recent lawsuit between the two companies.

I have been a Lynx guy since I bought my first 800 Boondogger in 2012. Once you get used to that suspension and ride feeling, you just don't want to drive anything else.
There is one other interesting point too. Buy detachable extra seat and you can put you girlfriend or wife behind and double the speed compared to normal touring sleds and still have no problems when hitting a bump.

    Good job too.
Also a lot of Lynx thinking makes sense if one consider their history in racing.
Like the suspension that was designed along with the race team rider Pauli Piippola, hence the name PP(S)uspension.
