Thanks for creating a dock like thing for alining the screen protector correctly and also for creating a official anti reflecting screen protector so that the anti reflecting feature won't die due to third part tempered glasses 😅
Probably the best instructions video I have ever seen. Every single step was shown without anything being skipped over or assumed. Applied mine just now, perfect first time.
glad I don't have to worry about the corners lifting now from a curved screen also, THANK YOU for the easy to use applicator instead of just providing the protectors and hoping for the best
The application process is clever and pretty straightforward. I managed to do it perfectly on my first try, and I'm really glad I bought it directly from Samsung.
You're charging $1299 for a phone with no charger adapter in the box or anything, just a cable and some documents. Is it gonna cost a lot to put a screen guard on the phone already. Come on Samsung please do it from the s25 series
we should not have to apply screen protectors by ourselves in 2024, they should come preinstalled when we include them in our order, cant believe theyre still getting away with it
I had two defective screen protectors sadly. The first had 2 horizontal scan lines (around 1cm apart) and the 2nd had bubbles/imperfections in the same place. Let's hope their replacement holds up a little better!
😆 this looks so easy, but I still managed to get dust on my screen when applying both times. Also, it's not fully covering the screen. You have gaps on the sides and bottom. It's ok if you use bulky cases, but if you go with no case or some low profile, you will feel screen protector sharp sides when swiping, i know it's not glass but would be cool some rounded edges or smth like that 😉 The screen protector itself feels really high-quality, it slides like through a real glass, and it doesn't leave any marks when using spen, also fingerprint scanner works with 0 problems.
@@HiddenDeadX ultra, but all Samsung s24 protectors feel and install should be the same. Rly wish they made it 1-2 mm wider on the sides would be a perfect screen protectors, but I have hope there will be a 3rd party anti reflective film screen protector that is full screen and feels like glass.
Lovely demonstration. My old S21U came with a screen protector installed and it did well for about 2 years. Got rid of it and have been using the phone without one ever since. Cant wait for the S24U!
Omg!!! So I thought I was a semi pro but baby, I'm A1 now!! This was actually fun and easy!! The technology bc where was this the past like 15 years of my life lol. Thank you Samsung 😊
I've had many phones throughout the years with many different types of screen protectors. But I have to say this was the easiest one. No bubbles, no nothing it just went on perfect. I'm shocked
OMG never thought the day would come where I'd be able to properly install my own screen protector. Way to go me (or Samsung)! Now here's to trying to figure out the whole SIM transfer situation
Why would anyone need a screen protector when Samsung has Gorilla Glass? Over the 5 years of using the Galaxy s10, there was not a single serious scratch and I wouldn't say that I'm a very careful user.
I had a Galaxy A 24 5 G device but I cracked the screen on the bottom corner because I dropped it on my daughter's tiled floor. I subsequently installed both a case and a screen cover. Despite being dropped numerous times even facedown on the tile floor, nothing else happened. There were no additional cracks and the existing crack did not extend, and the phone worked flawlessly. With my Galaxy A13 5 G, I promptly installed a rugged case and a screen cover from Amazon as soon as I received the phone. Despite numerous drops, typically more than 4 times a day, the screen never cracked. I've done the same thing to my recently acquired (8 months), T-Mobile REVVL 6 Pro 5 G, and the screen has not cracked despite being subjected to my harsh usage. I have a medical condition that causes my fingers to open up on its own for no reason regardless of how hard I would be holding the phone. I believe that both a rugged case and a screen cover are necessary for any smartphone regardless of the brand.
Do you notice any difference in the way fingerprint sensor works before and after using the screen protector? Does it require you to press harder to register the print?
@@deepverydeepak That will only happen on tempered glasses. Those are thick and mess up with the ultrasonic sensors. The solution is to re-register your fingerprint. The ultrasonic sensor has to compensate for the new layer of glass you put.
Yeah it was perfect! Except for a whole day that I had the applicator layer still on, and I blamed Samsung, I thought that was the protector. Long story: don't be a me.
A simple and great way of applying screen protectors that have been sooo frustrating in the past....SHAME about the LINES it leaves across the middle of the screen.
Mine disappeared after a week. It does scuff easily though so be mindful of that. The only reason I didn't come back to update. Doubt think it was worth the cost tbh but the application system is great
Why don't you just pre apply the screen protection. Ur store personnel also don't help apply.. so many bubbles in my application.. have to get another one😢
Have 2 lines in the middle more so on the right side where the 2 protective films halves met. Could see them before even peeling off, never went away during application.
The lines have gone away, but I find the screen protector is not wide enough, when using the side quick panel or just swiping, My finger catches the sharp edge, I can already see signs of the protector lifting where I swipe most. Poor design.
Great instructions, it is however a pitty that the protector for Ultra is not wide enough. On both sides 2mm which heavily affect swiping. Money waste.
Since the glass is anti reflective I bought a matte glass anti reflective screen protector too so it won't take away the anti reflective properties of the glass itself and possibly add more to that anti reflection.
Do you use cover and screen protector? I dont understand the logic behind covering the phone. You know the build quality and in hand feel is amazing without those.
@@rahulgupta43701 I trade in my phone every year so yeah I have to have it in pristine condition. Besides, a little protector doesn't hurt. It increases durability even more. Knowing you have that extra layer of durability makes me feel like I can be a bit careless but my phone wouldn't break or scratch.
It's good. Not affecting the fingerprint censor. Installation is simple and easy (I've got a horizontal gum-like line at the middle of the screen though). It's thin but strong. But it is not anti-reflecting as advertized, If it has that matte effect, may be far far better.
One missing piece here in this video is that as much as you clean the screen and eliminate dust, once you start putting the screen guard on, the dust from the blue film that you getting squeezed out as the screen guard is applied leaves dust bubbles. I bought this last year and it did terribly when I applied. I took the 2nd one in the box to samsung store and a senior technician there couldn't do it either. He took pity on me and gave me another screengurard for free to save the day. Not buying again.
Just did it with zero dust. You need to be in a clean room with no air movement, and work quickly. The longer you take, the more dust will find your phone.
Why cant samsung supply the product with screen protector applied by default as they used to do with Note 10 series prior. Even some of the chinese manufacturers sell their phones with screen protector applied. They also provide additional protector as a backup. Does Samsung has environmental reasons for not supplying screen protector?
Having bought a flagship from Samsung, I really regretted it. It broke down and had to wait 35 days for repairs. I accepted the situation, waited and did not return it to the store, but then at the end of the warranty it breaks down again for the same reason. I don’t have time to get to the store for 4 days under warranty and they just kick me. This is such a disregard for customers. So I got into the situation, endured breakdowns and lengthy repairs, but when I managed to get there and hand it over under warranty, they just sent me.
