Zoe, I just wanna tell you that I had a 3 hr plane ride today back home. Normally I watch movies. Today I watched about 2 1/2 hrs of this video. It was enthralling, and kept me entertained for hours. And the bonus: I learnt a lot. I've got to say that watching you mixing different colors with different paints, and you gently brushing onto the paper is theraputic. And then your ad-hoc comments every now and then (especially the one about teaching the high school class and language) well they are soooo entertaining. Thanks! you're the best.
I am very bad at colors, please do something about it, Like in depth tutorials Covering every concepts of colors and color theory with practical examples please..or what can I do to be good at colors an using colors in my design work.
I'm an engineer, zero art on me, to be honest. I tried to truly understand color theory more than once. I watched lots of videos of people doing the basic color wheel (primary colors, secondary colors and basic mixes), or just people mixing random colors and creating nice ones but with no explanation. I didn't finished watching at this video yet, but I have understood so much so far. Thank you ❤ I hope this video gets the traffic it deserves
I do crochet so I'm here to figure out how to better match my colours & I'm just an hour in but this is already super insightful as to why nothing I put together seems to match lol thank you for the vid!!
I wish that there way for these lessons to be done 100% audio. I listen along while driving/farming/gardening and it’s difficult to accomplish these tasks and listen. I’m not sure how that could be accomplished though. Great content. I’m learning a lot. Specifically from the designing a fashion collection series. This may sound crazy, but I’m a plant guy and I plan to make my own merchandise in house. A task for sure, but I’m interested to learn a new group of skills.
There is something i don't really get, at the beginning of desaturating a color, you say that there are four ways but you only go over tint, shade and tone. Not blaming you just wondering if there is a fourth or if there are only three.

The 4th is mute.
