So weird how everyone has such different life experiences. I graduated from UA last year and was expecting to watch this video and relate to it so much, but truly the only thing I related to was seeing her walk across campus. Wasn’t in a sorority, lived off campus, was working 30 hours a week while taking classes and still never had any money bc everything was always going towards bills. I also had a different major so the classes and coursework expectations were different. It really made me reflect on my college career.. Also, re: oil change- $100 ($90 with the coupon) is not that bad for an oil change. Yes it is over priced, but if your car takes a full-synthetic oil (most likely true if your car is less than 10 years old), there was no way it was gonna cost you $50 or under. As for the check engine light, the check engine light probably did not come on bc of the oil, although you probably did need an oil change. You can take your car to autozone and get a free diagnostic, which may not tell you exactly what’s wrong with the car but can at least give you some ideas. Check engine lights need to be turned off manually by the shop, and/or will turn off after a few miles of driving.
Hi! I live in Tucson and go to the U of A, and I always go to Jack Furrier on Tanque Verde/Pantano (I believe those are the roads) for an oil change (and tires once). It’s a bit of a drive from campus, but they are super nice and don’t rip you off. :)
Yes you should do a week/day in the life of an Elementary Ed. major (of you teaching in the classroom). That would be interesting to watch just because I’m also majoring in elementary education 😊. When are you planning on entering the credential program, or does UofA do it differently? Love your videos btw!
To get a free diagnostic on your car for the check engine like go to autozone or pep boys they have a thing u hook up to your steering wheel and it will tell u what u need to get checked out specifically
you should go to autozone and tell them your check engine light is on and they’ll run diagnostics for free, also go to midas for an oil change next time! they do it for $40 or sometimes less :-)
Hi Amanda, I started watching your videos some time ago when my son and I were researching schools for him. We're also from SoCal.We visited U of A a couple of times, in the end he chose Oregon, he loved it when we visited. By the way, i love your Oregon family trip video👍. Anyway, your videos are gteat and fun to watch. I wish you all the best, and I'll continue to watch even though my boys college search is over. Looking forward to those getting ready for college videos this summer. He'll be a freshman this fall. Blessings to you.
I also attend the UA & elementary ed major but i’m in the cohort a semester ahead of you!! Hope you enjoy your classes :)) if you have social studies with Chris he’s amazing & so is Mary Carol (i love her she’s precious) TLS 308 is probably the most annoying class lol but have a great semester!
i hope to get accepted into radiology school, but I’m not sure how that will go! Anyways I love your videos!. You’re so organized. I’d love to see a video about how you organize all your plans and how to still focus on school!
I love watching your college vlogs! They are so well edited and interesting to watch. I hope I'll be able to make college vlogs that are as entertaining as yours one day!
I just committed to U of A and right now my major is psychology but I didn't know elementary education was an option. Do you know if it's available as a minor or would it be better to switch my major before I start my first semester?
How do you like the elementary education program at UofA? I'm still deciding on to apply for Journalism or Elementary Education. I love kids and I've always dreamed of being a teacher but I've been doing a lot of journalism related projects. I don't know a lot of people at UofA so I would love feedback! Thanks:)
I’m also an elementary school major. What grades do you think you want to teach once you get your degree. I want to teach between Kindergarten and 2nd grade
