The music video and Andy's acting skills shines in the atmosphere of the theme. The pre-chorus and chorus is also eargasmic. About the screams, Hayden's screams are haunting but it could be mixed well

Courtney is absolutely incredible at what she does. Her control, her cleans to her screams. Just magnificent. And as for the CTE boys that was really refreshing and took me back to some old CTE. And the contrast of Leo screaming in there too! I enjoyed this track, and I wasn’t expecting it! 🤘🤘
Hated CTE growing up, but now i'm old and have found respect in this genre because i did not think this would last, let alone expand into what it has today. Any recommendations for this band i should peep? Damn near want a fringe again

I feel like this year so many artists in the genre are going for this heavier sound and it's gotten so CRISP. Everything sounds so high quality and all the layering just hit right.
It's because all bands have been stuck inside for a year and a half and have so much pent up energy

In my personal opinion, Hayden's screams are not good. Super forced sounding and does not mesh with Andy's vocals like Dave's did 😞. I love that they went heavier with this new track but shit man, Dave set the bar incredibly high and sadly Hayden cannot come close.

-Verses and guitar tones have the Resistance sound
-Drums definitely have a Sudden Sky album + Zero beat until breakdowns
-Pre-Chorus Vocals have Retrograde influence
-Chorus has 20/20 + The Fallout Vibe
-Breakdown 1 is definitely Fallout Album heavy
-Breakdown 2 is pulling a Bloodline

If you want bands to change song structure you need to listen to more prog metal or prog influenced bands. Check out some Oceans Ate Alaska, Veil of Maya, or Periphery.
