No disrespect to Flo-jo but I simply did not believe her performances were not drug enhanced. And Wilma.........simply the "Grand Dame" of track. Seeing these two together was epic.

Smooth muscle tone speaks volumes to the muscle bound women of today who look like the East Germans of old...who we all learned were juiced up. EA will always be my favorite since I was blessed to watch her run her entire career.

I watched the 1988 olympics , when U.S.A 400 relay , the germans took the lead , But you can see the video in U-tube when Evelyn developed a great amazing speed to pass the leader to win gold in #1 place . Evelyn was great , and surprise the crowds in expectation .
Evelyn deserves all the respect. I don't know how she ran that fast, as I really think she had terrible form, lot of body movement, bent forward at waist. Room for lots of improvement. Evelyn deserves all the respect. I don't know how she ran that fast, as I really think she had terrible form, lot of body movement, bent forward at waist. Room for lots of improvement. Was she clean in those early days with very poor to no testing, no one knows. What I do know is she did great. Loved watching her anchor run with Flo Jo the most, that was awesome.

Facts are stubborn things. "FloJo was juicing". These are just assumptions. The truth is, no one has ever proven these allegations. So FloJo's world records are and will remain official.
