A truly blessed Solstice to ALL! I hope you enjoy this video. I had so many ideas (as you can see!) and wanted to show you them all! Please feel free to customise these ideas to whatever suits you and resonates with you :D
The Summer Solstice this year (2021) is on June 21st
Rosemary Syrup Recipe:
2 sprigs of Rosemary
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
Heat and stir for 10 minutes until sugar dissolved and Rosemary permeating through.
Allow to cool and then serve. - SO EASY RIGHT?!

And I also wanted to ad, you really made me think when, in your disclaimer, you said to be safe in wooded areas. I know I'm always kind of pushing it when I go out in the woods by myself, and when I see videos like yours, I say "See, it's okay." I didn't know you weren't alone. A good reminder to be cautious and safe. (But Alywn, it's so tempting to go it alone!) Anyway, maybe you saved me from future harm. Thank you.
It is SO tempting I know! I did have a bad experience a few years ago unfortuantly (not in the woods it was actually on a main road!!! Wasn't terrible, but enough to have me shaken up and upset!!) You never know who or what is lurking out there! Have a wonderful litha 😊✨☀️🌞
After challenging myself and reading some very powerful female authors. I no longer feel this way. Our birthright is to be in nature. I feel safer alone in nature woods, streams, sea etc than I ever do in the city. As Alwyn said she had bad experience main road. Please don't feel you can't go out alone. Protection spell and intention after a shower or saining or smudging self helps give you confidence. I also have a staff if I am going on a longer walk alone. This sends out a signal not to mess with me!! Much love xx
If you go walking a lot alone, I would recommend taking some martial arts classes. The good classes will not just teach about fighting, but also about situational awareness. Also learning to read the warning signals from the animals that we share the woodlands with can give you extra information about what's happening nearby. For instance, what are the birds doing? Are they singing, that probably means you are the only one close by, but if they suddenly stop and you are not the cause, you know that there might be other (not necessarily bad) humans approaching. I really recommend wing chung as a martial art for women, it was invented by a woman and is great for smaller/slighter built people. Happy Solstice!

I missed the premiere (phone calls at the end of my work day are the worst)! I loved all of your ideas for the solstice! It didn’t even occur to me to make sun water, so I’ll definitely be incorporating that this year. I also love the idea of watching the sunrise at Stonehenge, and since I’m in Ontario I’ll be able to watch it before I go to sleep for the night! ❤️

This is definitely a special time of year for me. I started my practice on Litha a few years ago and I hope to honor it for many many more years.

You could do the simplest of birthday rituals - making a wish while blowing the candles out on your birthday cake! Maybe you could have a litha themed birthday feast 🍰🌞 hope you have a lovely birthday!

Absolutely perfect. What a beautiful day. Litha is my favorite Solstice along with Yule. Litha is such a bittersweet as we say goodbye to the Sun and begin to mentally prepare for turn into the darker days, which I love too. All so wonderful to be connected with earth and nature and to move and flow with her. This video brought sweet tears to my eyes as I reminisced of my past Mid Summer Celebrations. Well I am so happy that I have found this beautiful video, which I have just watched in the early hours of the 21st of June. I’m not really the biggest lover of summer. I am very much an autumn and winter person… but this video has inspired me to attempt to truly make the most of this day. Where I live, we celebrate Monday and I have a bottle of honey wine that I have been saving for the Summer Solstice and I can't wait to drink it and give some as an offering on my altar. We celebrated the physical aspects as I have to work tomorrow. However, like I did for the moon night, I will set out a special jar of water to absorb the solstice rays. A few petals from the calendula to decorate n add more energy plus a splash of florida water to keep it purified. Blessed Litha to all!

Thank you for your amazing video. I am currently in a mental hospital for a longer time and I feel so far away from nature and my spirituality than ever. I feel like giving up every day its such a hard time. Your Videos are always a light in my life and even when I am currently not in a place where I can try your ideas. summer solciste is a huge thing in my country (Latvia), we celebrate it as a national holiday, with bonfires, songs, cheese, beer, staying up all night etc. it's HUGE here, even christians take part in it since it's a part of our culture, of course many people don't look at it as a religious holiday anymore, but it's still really cool because it's easier for me to celebrate it and no one suspects anything! :D
Edit: I wanted to ask you if it's okay to celebrate it a bit later (23-24 of june) because the summer solciste we have has a set date, the same for each year. I'm new so I don't know if it's okay to celebrate it a bit later.

Hello Alwyn (I know that’s not your real name 🙂) my name is Chris! I happen to be a Christian which I know it sounds strange that I am talking to a pagan. I just discovered your channel literally just a few hours ago and I was so mesmerized and enamoured at the beauty of your videos! The feelings that it invoked in me are feelings that I haven’t had since I was a child, feelings of angelic warmth and beauty! I was especially enamoured when you presented your animal friends, your tortious and cat in your video concerning Beltane. You may not know this but I posted on your video how the beauty of it makes me sad 😔 because it made me think of all the animal cruelty in the world and all the evil that is contrasted with the beauty you demonstrated in your video. That bitter sweet combination of beauty and sadness is an example of something that I haven’t felt since I was a little one. How powerful it is! Like I said before your videos invoked powerful beautiful emotions in me. The fact that you made feel these things after so long is why in my opinion you my friend are an inspiration. And I hope you see this message as I would love to establish a friendship with you. Even though I’m a Christian and you are a pagan I feel that we shouldn’t let this incite division between us. Maybe we could be symbolic of the unity between Christians and pagans. Hope to hear from you soon. 🙂 P.S. I can not wait to try your fun idea for a sun catcher! I didn’t realize how easy it is to make them. I’m sure I have some bits and bobs lying around that I could use but the quartz I have is all loose and I wouldn’t know how to attach it.
