I got to see and meet both of these gentlemen at a show in Idaho in 2004. This was one of their closing numbers (along with a Robert Johnson cover). They're absolutely peerless musicians and both incredibly nice, genial guys. Go see Roy Rogers perform if you get the chance.

That's Norton Buffalo. Played with Steve Miller for 33 years and with the Doobies. I have to admit I didn't know who he was but there you go! Died suddenly in 2009 from multiple cancers. a real nice guy and a talent.

There is a such thing as devils and demons, and also angels and God, but as my church teaches me others that demons and Satan himself hate the name of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, and Satan was not chosen as the savior so he revolted and there was a big war in the pre-existence, Satan and the 3rd of the host of Heaven were cast out without obtaining a body of flesh and bones, so he abhors anything that has to do with God and Jesus.

Snortin' Norton was a one-of-a-kind harp man and Roy Rodgers mixes with his superb blues attack so well. We all miss Norton Buffalo so much, went north way too early! What CHOPS! This music is for the LIVING people not drug-suckin' stoners and tooth-grinding morons!

Norton sadly passed away in 2009 of Cancer. My brother was his drummer in the 80's.
