Thank you for this. I spent two weeks wondering why I couldn't find xm in my 2020 S560: it NEVER occurred to me that the car didn't have xm. Using Bluetooth is too distracting, since you have to hold and look at your phone to change channels. Shame on you, Mercedes.
Thanks, Spencer! I know you said you couldn’t navigate through the Sirius channels via Bluetooth like you could on the app where you see all the channels and what they’re playing, but just to confirm, can you navigate through the channels via Bluetooth by pressing the forward or back buttons to go to the next station? This would be without seeing what that station is or what’s playing on it beforehand of course.
I purchased a used MB 350 with satellite radio. I also have Sirius xm account which I try to use with CarPlay. My problem is I can get the audio to work through CarPlay. It is like the music is on pause. I have to exit CarPlay to get the audio through the MB System. What am I doing wrong?
So are you saying that the GLB 250 models DO NOT have Sirius XM capabilities? You explained what to do if it doesn't and you said "some Mercedes models" but you didn't explicitly say that the GLB models don't have XM capabilities. Please clarify.

Blows me away that Mercedes dont have Sirius/XM radio in all their vehicles!?!?! Or wireless apple car play
You will have to purchase a higher class vehicle for wireless carplay. They want to separate the feature for a reason.
So its not true Satellite radio and you're limited to Cell towers IMO it want work well in remote areas such as the mountains away from main highways.

Correct. Not all have it
Ridiculous all the models don't have satellite radio.
Are you using Data when using the app in the car??
Does this work on all cars that have car play?
