Thank you! I use a Sony A7iii with an F/2.8 lens. The lens makes the biggest difference with clarity at night 👍
LOVE your night reviews. Not enough people do this. So important to see (in detail) the car at night. Also always good to see a fellow Georgian doing vids (Go DAWGS!) but your accent is not near as strong as mine was when I grew up there!

@@you11114 i am taking it for the first oil change this coming Tuesday, all l did put gas in & have it washed .it is still like brand new, looks great, drives fantastic ,easy to handle ,no it doesn't use much gas either .So I am very happy with my G L B 250 .Just 3 days ago one of my friends told me all about the new car ( 6 month old ) she has wich is still under Warranty but always back at the dealer ,but it is an American luxury car wich doesn't do her any good because she never has it .instead of driving her new car she is always driving a loaner. No I have had never any problems with any of my Mercedeses ,ever .Go for it ,and enjoy.

It looks very nice inside and out. The concierge service can be a bit annoying to some. It just needs a tune up to not respond every time you say its name. I would have mine lighting set to blue or purple. I enjoy your night reviews Nolan.

i am this close to getting this. i need a new car. never had a mercedes. seen this one. love the interior. the lights. screens. i was reading bad reviews about the air bags but i still want it. between this and the x3. hands down mercedes

I was stuck between this or x3 and this won hands down. The interior alone is worth every penny
I'd definitely choose Mercedes over the x3 but if hour into performance then choose x3 but if you want to look.like luxury choose Mercedes
Can you tell me what's the deal with the marker lines on American cars? As a person from a different continent altogether, I don't understand why all cars manufactured in or for USA has the yellow marker light embedded in the headlights, what's its purpose? European, Australian and South African cars don't have those marker lights
Those marker lights are basically just an extra little safety light that can be seen from even if the headlight goes out. It’s a requirement here
Of course ambient lighting gives a car that premium look but it may be a bit distracting for me as a driver if Im going to have them on at night while driving. I would set them a their dimmest with a luke warm colour (oragne) temperature so not to strain my eyes.
You can turn them off 100%. And you can turn off the screen in the center of the console, leaving alight just the screen for the driver’s gauges, plus the little lights for the windows and locks - buttons, dials and switches. These can be slightly dimmed by the manual roller switch at the headlights. Mercedes uses a yellowish light for these, which helps.
8:15 "back in my day" it wasn't a light for a book but a map light.
Quick Question - Aside from the vents changing colors if you turn heat up or cool down, can you set up dual colors for ambient or is everything the same color only?
There are ambient light settings that can control the accent, vent color, foot wells. There are pre set color options where u can change the vent colors from the accent colors.

I know some people (my spouse) think my obsession with accent lighting is a ridiculous thing to care about in a luxury car, but I'm all about the details and the ability to customize things. I figure if I'm paying $60K+ for a car, I have the right to care about even the little things. :-) Thanks again for that info!
You can also set it to rotate through colors. Preset themes are offered and you can also create a custom changing or still theme.
It's very customizable it's can be different colors in different areas
So, I bought a GLB 250 12 days ago. I mostly like it, but one thing I can't get used to is the overly tinted windows. The interior lights reflect off the side windows, and it's hard to see through the rear window. Even with the ambient lighting off, it's hard to see the side mirrors at night. Did you, or anyone else, notice this as well?
You can turn off your ambient lighting if you want. I do notice if it's dark outside and night time there is a slight light reflection when their on but nothing too crazy. But for me the windows aren't tinted too dark it's just right. I'm loving the car so far
I love the GLB, but the Mercedes I would get that would be cheaper would be the GLA or GLC. But my dream car is the Model S and GLE

When we got the car the ambient lights would switch about every 15 seconds, but somehow now it doesn’t do that anymore, is there a way you can change it back to switching colors?

I just purchased this car on 7-4-21 and I am still learning it alone! Single mom here with no knowledge about car. Question is that I do not see the light on the mirror anymore when someone is driving close to the car. !!! Please HELP!!!! Thank you
Hi Mila, I can’t remember for sure where the settings are to change it, but it’s gotta be in one of two places.
First use the steering wheel buttons to scroll through the digital display where you speed and trip computer information is until you find a section or page for settings. If you can adjust and edit those, look for blind spot assist. It may need to be turned back on.
If it’s not in there, go to the main touch screen and find settings, then search for the same thing. It may be in driver assistance or safety settings but there’s gotta a way to turn it on or off.

It's a bit louder the GLC is more sound proof but with GLB you get better space a 3rd row and more head room plus a much better screen so most suck it up and go for GLB
