    I love seeing full sized vehicles off road in the SE. I’ve taken a Gladiator down that trail but now I have a Power Wagon I want to take there. That section about 12 minutes in your vid is about the toughest section if I recall and it looks worse in your vid than the last time I did it.

    • @EverymanOverland
      @EverymanOverland  Год назад

      Ya that spot is pretty tight, especially for full size trucks. Smaller trucks can somewhat pick a line, but your power wagon is going to find some places that you just have to put it where it fits and hope for the best. I actually watched a video that has 3 or 4 power wagons gong through HC, so you can do it for sure, but you may come home with additional pinstripes free of charge! 😁

      @@abc-ed1nr the entrance is right at the end of the guard rail. You literally hit the brakes and turn off the roadway while on the interstate. No exit, no nothing. I certainly didn't know at the time. I've driven part of a bunch of times, and it looked well established, like many area where there's a hard line and a bypass. So knowing I couldn't make it, I tried it. However I had a conversation with a friend of mine last night and he said that there are hard feelings about that spot in particular, and that it was in bad form. So I have removed it from the video. If you look at the 19 min mark, you'll see it's gone. I now know better, and I do apologize to you and the world as a whole. I'm sorry, if it were a hate hillside I'd never just go chasing around wrecking the place. I'm not that guy. This looked to me like an optional line, and I was wrong.

Maybe. I don't feel that it's a difficult trail. I think it's a good litmus test even for new drivers. If they feel like me that it's an easy trail, then let's go to Windrock. If they think it's more than they want to do, then they should buy a go fast camper or maybe a sprinter van and focus on seeing beautiful places from less aggressive dirt roads. Neither is an insult, but I think it's important to be honest with yourself about what you really want to do, so you can seek that out,and have the best time possible.
