What's amazing is the level of abuse this shows. Daily use should be much more careful. This is an engineering marvel that this foldable can be water resistant and take drops. Just go back to when you (that are old enough) had a flip/feature phone that you had to soak in rice after you spilt as drink on it or got caught in a rainstorm 😅I remember seeing people with spidered glass on all their phones...lol
WARNING!!! I love this phone (flip3z) and using it for creating content for the past 18months BUUUUUTT 2 screen replacements and now as of today the screen didnt only delaminate it went liquid black in middle rendering the phone useless. I called Samsung and they dont care or want to replace it despite the ongoing issues. The authorized repair centre in Canada for Samsung (Futuretel) advised me not to buy these phones as the same screen is in the Flip5 meaning the same issues will likely occur. Prior to today's incident and after watching this rad review figured I'd upgrade but not now. Tread carefully because if the screen goes liquid black you can reset it and do you want to send in for repair all your personal or work files? I understand occassional issues from new tech but 3 failures in 18 months and a strong suggestion from the repair center tech guy is enough for me to share my experience so you dont have to be fustrated.
seeing this further proves my point that my flip 5 was defective lmao bought one and 9 days later i drop it like less then 2 feet , and bottom half of the folding screen goes white gonna hope for a NON defective fold 6 when i get it
@@OverDunkNessSEVEN2nd ball drop and then right before the cut to the 3rd ball drop its for a split second you can see that the 2nd ball drop broke the display as the inky blackness consumed the top right of the display.
Ive had my flip 4 for over a year and I've not had any issues with the crease cracking. My boyfriend also has the fold and he has also never dealt with this issue.
I traded my fold 4 in after 6 months because the inner screen scratches easily, but every single one does not crack, that's bs you're making up for likes.
@@PackMan13x mine also gets scratched up pretty easy. The built screen protector did end up bubbling up after awhile, but that's about it for me as well.
The screen isn't glass, it's plastic and it scratches at a level 2 compared to a level 7 on iPhones and galaxy S series. Even your fingernail can damage them.

Would have been a miracle if they made it dust resistant like the moto flip phone 🙄 (and I have a flip 5 lol)

Notice how they don't show any drop tests while the phone is opened because one drop then the screen instantly becomes damaged

Z flips strong phones besides you have to change Screen protector from time to time because it starts bubble. It was in Z flip 3 and 4

Same thing happened to me,noticed they don't show drop tests while it's open so I'm guessing it wasn't defective

3 months later I have a pixel damage 3 pixels are dead, according to Samsung pressed too hard on it therefore no warranty, cost about 580
This is helpfull if you dotn end up shipping those phones
However, Samsung does not report how many smartphones remained operational after all these tests.

Screen durability is horrendous. I have several friends with Folds and Flips and every single one, the screen has cracked at the crease.
Do you know which model they had and for how long?
