Could be your keyboard or controler. Filet the fish before cooking. The decay of the greens gives up moisture which is collected by the water still.
Also, I love your channel. Your voice is soothing, and I love your commentary on the game play.
The corner roof piece spans 2 walls at a right angle. ie. it covers the door and the wall on the right of the door. almost all roof pieces are rather finicky to place.
You don't need to have all the crafting items in hand. You just need to have them in your field of view.

Okay, I gotta admit that Neebs Gaming's playthru of this game is one of my favorite internet things ever, but that said, I'm very much looking forward to your take on it! It's that kind of game: infinite replayability, meaning I can also watch as many playthroughs as I want, without ever having to play it myself. 😁
I found your channel due to Project Castaway (which I hope they hurry up and finish, because it's got tons of potential) but that just put me in the mood for a playthru of this. Thanks for taking it on.
So many of the channels that play this type of game... well, honestly, their voices just kind of grate on my ears after a few minutes, but not yours!

I know that you just posted this 10 days ago, but I will have to admit that when I play with the settings on Ultra it does have glitches and do weird things to the tools and hands. I just found your channel a few weeks ago and have been enjoying everything that you put out. Thanks you and keep up the great work.

The purple critter in the surf looked like a sea anemone. They can sting you with a neurotoxin, like a jellyfish.
Ah, ok I’ve seen them and know they are to be avoided. I think what I’m struggling to see currently are sea snakes or something. I keep getting bit under water!
You will be able to craft a salve to get rid of the poison but its a really good idea to avoid the snakes, purple starfish and the Lionfish!
I just found your channel and subscribed, i follow Gamedged too. I noticed when you placed the roof. The ones you tried are for bigger roofs, for the smallest ones there is a pyramid shaped one. But you have probably found that by now :) I think you did very well for the first try. I think the small crabs + thirst took me out on the first run. XD I do wonder though if you will have a raft in the next episode... OO

That music fills me with so much nostalgia. I don’t know how many thousand hours I spent in this game, one of my favourites of all time. Fishing was a great occupation with all the colourful fish. I want to play this again. Ill have to see if it’s available on Playstation.
Edit: Yup, just bought it on PlayStation! Btw, the yuccas respawn, the fibrous plants respawn but the coconut trees do NOT! Unless there has been a recent update which changed things, you have to go to another island for trees.
Was fishing worth it as far as food goes?

You can craft items on the ground, you don't need to pick them up.
Really I just need to learn how to use the crafting method. It’s just slightly different than anything else I’ve ever used 😄 thank you for that advice it really is helpful 😀
@@generalg1946 - Back in the early day of the game, there was a tutorial in the airplane, it walked you through crafting by making you get the ingredients to mix yourself a martini, honestly I'm sad they took that out, because it was a unique little crafting tutorial and showed you how the system worked without technically spoiling anything (no martinis on the Island, lol) - After you crafted the Martini you went back to your seat, then it went through the whole Plane Crash Scenario like normal.
You can't make a pile of one. You need at least 2 to make a pile of anything.

I like a lot of the games that GameEdged plays on his channel, and he's got great commentary, knowledge, and skill, but his voice kind of hurts my earballs! Nothing at all against the guy, and more power to him, I just love finding alternatives that I enjoy LISTENING to.

Maybe the developer achieved what they were desiring. In today's world, maybe we expect more, but it's really not too bad I don't think:) Hopefully Project Castaway can one up! I am Hopeful!

Also, try holding all those things at once and switching which one is in your hand in the real world. You won't be able to do it without putting something down. That was your item issue.

@@generalg1946Next time you play, before you load your game, select Cartographer and zoom out. That is your current Game Map. Take a screen shot.
maybe its motion blur or something causing it??? The game has always been kinda shit anyways for as fun as it is.. well its fun for a little while, but feels empty and boring after a while too, specially once you are so set up with survival you could just live the rest of your life lol
I’m not sure I played around with for and a few other setting. Set graphics to high and such. Seemed to help in fixture videos I’ve recorded. Thanks!
