From my experience moose are only hostile if you try to actively bother them or if they have babies nearby. If you respect their space, they’ll generally leave you be.
That happened in the first one as well but l think the spawn was just RNG,these mother Fers made the first game,they were 4 dudes and that was and still is one of the best survival games ever,and now that they got more people and more stuff to work with in general,they made a masterpiece even better than the previous one! Maybe Endnight is gonna be the next nemesis of R*
I tried getting a different spawn by restarting 6 times, all of which varied the length at which I stayed in the helicopter, and every single time I spawned on the mountains.
I have to play on my Steam Deck, so I had to restart a few times to get the best setting. I was surprised too! Nice little touch with the different cutscenes too! I dropped in the forest first, the snow like 3 times, then the beach.
Been on a Son of Forest binge, can't seem to get enough; watched stream as I was playing and rewatching it now. I actually started two games, one multi-player with my son and the other solo (minus the hostiles) to enjoy the building aspects but also to understand the controls a bit better and I've really, really been loving it. Though a pain to get it as soon as it was released, worth it. The only issue we've been having is with Kelvin, he can make as well as light the fire while being feet away, he can set up camp on top of rocks, in the air then build the fire on top of tent however it's not something huge that makes the game non-enjoyable (more so fun) cause we just have him take in down and rebuild it if it's built in place we can't get to... they'll most likely fix it as well; we also had our game "break" when we first started it up (we couldn't interact with anything) but that hasn't happened since the first start-up other then that it's been fan freaking-tastic. They are definitely doing it justice, worth the price and recommend in case anyone has been holding off in purchasing. 😉
Kelvin doesn’t need to be fed. He takes care of himself. But they will need to tell him to take breaks or he gets sad and goes on strike. He can also be told to hide when cannibals are nearby.

That creepy mouth chest monster is known as "fingers"...which is kind of disturbing In regards to Aloe Vera being a wonder herb, it kind of is. Antibacterial, antiviral, and antiseptic, speeds up wound healing, the water in the tissue is the cooling gel most people know of. Aloe reduces dental plaque, treats constipation, lowers blood sugar, increases collagen production
The Forest was the first game I ever played on a PC. I won a free copy from a streamer the day after I got my first computer. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
Moose are dangerous, but generally only if they’ve got their young with them or someone has been bothering them. We were taught as kids to always assume they’re upset and give them some serious space. I’ve come face to face with one as a kid, but luckily it was not agitated, and was more concerned with eating a tree than attacking me.
I downloaded this last night and can't wait to play it after work. I've been so hyped about this game. Thanks for making a video and streaming it! I got to see some the things i'm in for! Also impressed that the helicopter crash is different depending on where it crash lands from the seed, very nice touch.

Insym The 3d printer is an epoxy printer. That liquid is UV curing epoxy, and it does work by pulling it up out of the liquid like that But I wouldn't recommend making anything to drink out of, store food in, or to protect yourself since it isn't food safe or high strength
The graphics improve so much. I really like the game! What perfect sequel, i mean it's the Forest 2 BUT it's called "Sons of the Forest" Some of the mechanics was improve, but the scenery just amaze me
While building up our base camp, my friends and I gave the three legged lady a pistol which she used to help fight when we got raided...we also found a dress to give her to wear

about the 3d printer there are different types, the one most people recognise as a 3d printer is called fdm where it prints with plastic filament thats melted and extruded into the 3d item, then theres also sla/sls theyre resin printers which is the one in the game, it prints from a vat of uv cure resin upside down compared to an fdm printer. theres also other types but those two are the most common.
That actually is how a 3D resin printer works. There is a liquid resin in the bottom and it is cured layer by layer with UV light as the platform raises holding the print. It just takes a hell of a lot longer than that. Notice that you’re collecting printer resin, not filament for an extruding printer.
The Red 3D Printed Mask Masks are utility items, with the general purpose of convincing cannibals not to attack you. There are two known types of masks in the game, Red and Gold. They were added in the games initial release, v0.01. We see stronger cannibals wearing gold masks. This seems to identify them as the leader of the other cannibals. You can see in the trailer that the player can go into a bunker. There, they find a 3D printer, and print a red mask. Printing a mask may be the replacement for red paint. In the original game 'The Forest', red paint was used to decrease cannibal hostility. The mask in 'Sons of The Forest' may be used in a similar manner.

Hey Insym, I would highly suggest playing Green Hell since you enjoy playing sons of the forest and the forest. Green Hell is pretty much the forest but its in the amazon and features a great story and game mechanics that are sometimes even better than the forest. It would be great seeing you play it for the first time and make a small series out of it similar to how you've played the forest and sons of the forest.
They desperately need to optimize this. At lowest quality settings possible and 20 fps limit I’m still buffering. Other than that this is a truly amazing game. Worth the wait.
I was surprised in the First minute of the Video because you had a completely different Crash Animation and Spot than me and my Friends. Edit: I just realised you also had different starting loot ( except for the Key items ofc )

The 3D printer in game is based off of real world resin 3D printers, which cure from top to bottom unlike traditional 3D printers which go from bottom to top
