Not fantasy totally they were super proud in duels and when starting war but once war began their were no honour just anything to win , Miyamoto Musashi one of the legendary samurai won all duels not only by skills but also using frustration and anger of his enemies,he was a Ronin tho, like western cowboys lawless
What’s cool is how the game actually avoids health sponges and makes the enemies and the player a few right or wrong moves away from death. Makes it feel smart and intense. Props also to Mongol Armor which never gets represented in media.
Even on the hard difficulty enemies still aren’t sponges. (Except bosses) it’s awesome, even better on lethal when everything is one shot including your own attacks
@@pugforce8315 Dude Lethal is one of my favorite game modes ever. Both you and the enemy are just two slices away from death so everything is so intense. The only thing that's not so fun in Lethal are the duels though because you get insta-killed but your opponent becomes a Sherman Tank for some reason.

Even on lethal difficulty the Mongols attack one at a time as per the Samurai custom to fighting. However the Mongols historically attacked at the same time, the Japan accounts on the Mongol invasion showed us how unfamiliar Japanese Samurai were with full force attacks.
Beautiful. This is my favorite difficulty in the game, it really makes a player engage with it thoroughly to have a chance at success, and I find that incredibly cool. One of my favorite games I've played in a long time.
Yes! And also a lot of games think that higer difficulty levels are just "ok, this is difficult so the enemies deal 10 time more damage, and they become bullet sponges." But no, SP made a great job, it really made the game more fun to me, and it's the first time i play in high difficulty. (Love your channel btw)
tbh during endgame, lethal mode becomes easier than hard mode since every enemy dies in 1 or 2 hits including the commanders. at least in hard I still need to hit commanders 4 or 5 times before I can kill them
@@whatthe9256 Lethal defiantly becomes easier than hard once you master defense. I think its more hard when surrounded by large groups, so you have to be really aware or get 2 shot 😂.
SP needs to offer up Shimura’s castle as a Stronghold with Overwhelming forces or have the samurais relentlessly search for the Ghost at the end game. UPDATE IT!!!!

From my thoughts, this game is absolutely beautiful, I rate it 9.5/10. I like the story, about one samurai who lost his honor but rose up to become Ghost and defended the people and drove Mongolians out through brutal methods like poison even though he was condemned for doing dishonorable things. For gameplay, it's very amazing, the combat is very intense. I know it's not Assassin's Creed, but almost everything is similar to Assassin's Creed gameplay mechanics like parkour and stealth. Honestly, there are something I like to add, if I observe correctly, I see players use swords, bows and arrows, it would be flexible to use variety of weapons like spears and heavy weapons and use captured Mongolian weapons, but keep Sakai's katana as default and irreplaceable weapon. I don't know if samurai lets them to use captured enemy weapon and able disarm the enemy, I'm no expert. I think the game should have player carry the dead body to hide it somewhere for stealth or to lure an enemy to death or distraction just like Assassin's Creed. In this game, the enemies are mostly Mongolians and some other samurais, I would like to add Korean warriors since they aid Mongolians during the invasion, but I don't know if they were in Tsushima centuries ago. Maybe I wasn't pay attention, but the game seems to missing one thing, divine wind (kamikaze), when typhoon annihilated Monglolian fleet. Anyway, the graphics were amazing, I love it, the environment and landscape are really nice which made me feel that I am in Japan or Tsushima Island. I consider this is the best game of the year and deserve many awards. If there is sequel, maybe the story will talk about Jin Sakai will probably reclaim his honor, but keep his Ghost.

the only thing that historically true is the setting, Mongolian invasion in 1274 at komoda region where all 80 local samurai were butcher by thousand mongols at the beach. the armor is almost accurate. Everything else are questionable, even the jin's blade. they said it "tachi" in Japan Voice but what jin is using isn't even tachi(predecessor of katana). it's a katana shape that made during the sengoku era(1500-1600).
That's a fair rating i give it the same rating too i just finished the game and I already started my second playthrough on hard difficulty i can definitely feel the difference

Swifty there is an option that changes the hud to expert its much more immersive in my opinion. It doesn't show the enemy health or guard you have to visually see them breaking guard and with stealth you get a trigger that you are being seen but not a white bar in the normal mode and so much more.
Think of it like there’s good and bad in every race/ethnicity however u want to view it. When u start playing this game u will understand. That’s why we have police in home cities because some people get out of hand.

I got the game and played through it on hard the first run. On the second run I did lethal, and gotta be honest chief, that was so difficult. But I switch it back on here and there. Honestly such a great game.
A samurai is a very proud warrior to him his katana is the embodiment of his soul, so he feel any sword is unworthy, that’s why katakana is always an heirloom by samurai clans and also the Japanese saw foreign swords as inferior to theirs

Cool video. On a related note - ghosting is kind of easy-mode. The highest level of this game is to constantly perfect parry/dodge, back to back, while fighting a swarm of enemies. In a way, Lethat is easier, because you kill faster - which makes fighting swarms easier.

Your standoff time seemed too slow for lethal mode. Does the parry talisman affect this for you or something? Cause my twitch reflex is pretty good but i get murdered in standoffs on lethal. With or without the talisman.
not getting slow, but standoff kinda feels too random on the distance and timing. i feel like sometimes is too early and close, and sometimes it's the other way around
Got lethal diff is one of the best things ever hapened in gaming. Just LOVE IT. Jedi survivior did solid work with purity game mode but got lethalis stellar💥💥💥

Yo we always have the same gear on. Complete all the hot springs you will get one of the most fun “armors” in the game for stealth. Also complete all the bamboo strikes to enhance the hot springs outfit... if you know then you know
They could some crazy ass type of dlc with this game and it would sell like hot cakes. Like complete new story or some backstory of characters like Yuna and shit, they could add more armors and paints mabye a horde mode, different weapons like a nodachi or a Naginata, dual wielding. The possibilities are endless man
I love this game, I wanted more after I finished it. Sekiro was too hard and it just kept getting weirder. I know I suck but I buy games to enjoy them not to get frustrated.

This is why I do the main quests first, left out the camps and forts until I finish the game

Cool video. On a related note - ghosting is kind of easy-mode. The highest level of this game is to constantly perfect parry/dodge, back to back, while fighting a swarm of enemies.
In a way, Lethat is easier, because you kill faster - which makes fighting swarms easier.

Your standoff time seemed too slow for lethal mode. Does the parry talisman affect this for you or something? Cause my twitch reflex is pretty good but i get murdered in standoffs on lethal. With or without the talisman.

not getting slow, but standoff kinda feels too random on the distance and timing.
i feel like sometimes is too early and close, and sometimes it's the other way around
Got lethal diff is one of the best things ever hapened in gaming. Just LOVE IT. Jedi survivior did solid work with purity game mode but got lethalis stellar💥💥💥

i wish enemies were more aggressive & responsive to ghost weapons on lethal difficulty. combat is way too easy at this point
For real. Duels is where it's at tho, very intense and on equal grounds combat. I've been doin most of them with the traveler outfit to add to the difficulty
Yeah I switched back to hard from lethal for regular enemies because the fights are extremely easy in lethal

GOTY contender, worth several more hours of DLC and and newgame+. I would pay another $60 for DLC after getting the platinum trophy. Im a ways away from that since i only play on friday or saturday...
I would like NG+ system like in Souls Borne games. Heck, the camera is 10x deadlier too!

They need to add the option to change the color of that orange arrow holder on his hip. A little detail but when you’re in the menu it’s a different color but in game it’s orange... WHY

I love he can run around and make it as if he already knows where everyone is... meanwhile I'm stopping every few minutes to find the next group of guys when I'm in bigger environments

Yo we always have the same gear on. Complete all the hot springs you will get one of the most fun “armors” in the game for stealth. Also complete all the bamboo strikes to enhance the hot springs outfit... if you know then you know

They could some crazy ass type of dlc with this game and it would sell like hot cakes. Like complete new story or some backstory of characters like Yuna and shit, they could add more armors and paints mabye a horde mode, different weapons like a nodachi or a Naginata, dual wielding. The possibilities are endless man

I love this game, I wanted more after I finished it. Sekiro was too hard and it just kept getting weirder. I know I suck but I buy games to enjoy them not to get frustrated.
