Each Emerald Cut Size in this video is compared to this 1 Carat Diamond on a hand with a size 6 finger. This 1-carat diamond at Kay Jewelers, like most Brick and Mortar jewelry stores, is about $11,200, and that is because it is high quality. Now also, in this video, we take those diamonds and compare them to the exact same quality diamond from a website I will put in the description below this video. This 1-carat is $4000, so you'd save over $7,200 from my link below this video.
This is a .33 or 1/3 carat Emerald engagement ring on the hand. Compared to a 1-carat emerald-shaped diamond, it is very unimpressive, and you can barely tell it is even an emerald shape at this point. Oval diamonds can have a longer ratio or a wider ratio. You'd save close to $600 buying this diamond from the link in the description of this video.

I can't even begin to tell you how helpful your videos are. Thank you!!!!!
Considering upgrading my engagement ring from a 1ct princess cut solitaire on white gold to a 1.5ct Emerald cut solitaire on yellow gold. This definitely helps so so much! I was going to buy a cheap CZ and plated version for $50 to see if I liked it, but this really sealed the deal on my decision!
Also I worked for Kay’s corporate office (Signet) and they own James Allen. If you see a ring at Kay’s you like it’s probably cheaper at James Allen. They get their stuff from the same manufacturer.
Idk why every budget conscious person wouldn’t go for lab grown diamonds. They’re like half the price and you cannot tell the difference whatsoever. And better yet, they are conflict-free & mining-free so they’re much better on the conscience. I’d rather have a bigger diamond for less price and go lab. Not to mention feel good that no humans nor the earth was harmed in getting it.

Tell that to 99% of the women population.
@@NaturesChosen I think a lot of them just don’t know about these. I didn’t until I started researching. It just makes total sense all around to go lab grown.
I think it’s a luxury good so some people want the real thing but there are dupes worth way less! I myself have no problem with the dupe. At the end of the day, a rock is a rock!
@@Elodie_vera Exactly.. it IS the real thing... if a flower grows in a field or a greenhouse, it is still a flower. There is literally zero difference chemically and physically between natural and lab.
You are the best. Thanks.
Great video Buck
Thats is one mighty diamond....
for some reason, the diamonds look much smaller in person that what it seems on this video.... that 1.75 carat in person looks more like a 3 carat in person... meaning, the diamonds will always looks smaller than what you see here.... so just keep that in mind
The 2.1 carat diamond was my favorite
I have a question for you! Most emerald solitaire diamonds are set with a prong in each corner but these look like there are two prongs on each of the sides, so you’re able to see the soft corners of the emerald cut. I like this so much more! Do you now what it’s called? I’ve never send this before?
Kelli Andersen it’s just a temporary holder for the stone, emeralds can’t be set this way because their corners are sharp and susceptible to chipping/damage in general.
Great video, any suggestions on where to get a good deal?
I’m going through Clean Origin.
I just kept hearing him saying 'Rick and morty
Brick n mortar means real building and they are online
Her nails are cute
Could you make a video explaining lab-made diamonds and who they compare to real-mined diamonds?
Inclusions look the same but the flesh looks different according to trained eyes
I can tell you off the bat, lab grown is better type than mined. You can contact me via insta (eva.leos) if you want more info!
What should I pay for a 3 carat emerald cut diamond ring? And where should I buy it?
What is the ring size of the model in the video? Thank you so much!
Joanna Ma I think he said she’s a 6!
Sigh... i love the emerald and asscher cuts. In this case i only sat up and stared when the 2.66 and 3.75 came up. If money were no object i would nab that 3.75.
Me too so I'm going with moissanite. :-)
Well no one is asking me but I think more then 2 carats looks like a those toy gifts rings that you win on carnivals ... I guess 1.75 to 2 carats is perfect 👌🏼
You can get a 4ct center stone Emerald cut diamond for 20k CAD including the setting if you are willing to go for a CVD lab grown diamond, which is actually type IIa (better than 98% of all mined diamonds)
Diamonds on ebay are even cheaper than store diamonds. I’m not saying that as a joke. You need to seriously shop around, there are genuine diamonds out there for as little as 2k
@@natevic1867 I agree hahaha ok maybe Ebay isnt the best source to go to, but there is wayyyyy cheaper options. E.g. diamond dealers
You didn’t mention ratios
What size is the model's finger?
6
Is it possible to get a 5 ct vvs2 for under 10k with g color and very good cut?
Yes james allen
Those emerald diamonds are leaking a lot of light with all those dark areas.....
I mean there not much reason to get a d flawless
Size 8
I disagree, I would not go waste time of those who stock jewelry fully intending on shopping online. You pay extra to physically have it in stock. Do what you want but they provide a service for a living that costs extra, that’s the downside to shopping online vs dealing with someone who can help you find what you want.
What should I pay for a 1 carat emerald cut diamond just give me a price range
4k to 6.5k for the stone itself
@@sarj4918 thank you
A 1ct center shouldn't cost you more than 5k (including the setting). You don't need VVS quality with such a small stone. I would personally stick to VS2-SI2. Color wise, you can go to a J since Emerald cuts hide color very well.
@@evaleos6210 thanks for your input but if I'm trying to get one of Superior Clarity and color what should I pay
@@stopasking9745 you can pay anywhere from 5k to 10k. Honestly though, you won't even be able to tell the clarity between VVS and SI in a 1ct, and could save a lot of money opting for a lower clarity. A skilled and honest jeweler will tell you the same. Good luck on your search :D
Why would anyone want an emerald cut when fake stones have more sparkling in them?
2 carat size looked most elegant
That 3.75 carat emerald is terrible! The cut is extremely poor - the amount of leakage is crazy, not to mention that the facets are totally lost.
11k for a colour g good cut vvs1 one carat? Absolute rip off.
Looks more bigger roud or emerald 1 carat?
Round. Emerald has a heavy bottom
