I am 30 years old and I started 3 years ago to learn how to worry less..Cause as long as I can think I worry nearly about everything and it takes a lot from my living quality. It got better since I consciously started to work on that, especially stop worrying what people think about me and trying to satisfy others. it's a long process and i still have a lot to work on.
Your videos inspire and help me a lot!
So thank you for that, Conni

the question is, what fears are you feeding by worrying so much? look at the fears, not the worries :)

Good for you! My big one is being in control. When I was diagnosed with MS I learned to live in the moment and let life happen.

I love you Connie, thank you, you are great. the thing with perfectionism and not comparing with others and make your own way of life, being single, be who I am. The thing about shame and vulnerability, and dont care what others think of me, yeah, thank you, really important things for me.
    Love from Buenos Aires ❤

A lot of important points in this video! For me the real challenge was to stop caring about others and about all the rules that derive from others (their opinion, the "right" way to live according to society, others being better than me at my job...).
Obviously it's an ongoing process, but deciding to stop caring and understanding that you need to stop caring, are powerful tools.
An amazing thing is that, having this new perspective of not caring, I had the possibility to re-evaluate my life so far: I thought I made a lot of mistakes, but they where mistakes only in the eyes of others! Actually I just was on a different path (a path that suits me better).

Conni, thank you so much for making these videos. I can’t tell you how many things have come under the microscope since I started listening in. Early this year, I went through a really harsh breakup that I thought was going to be the death of me. Literally.
Little did I know that this was actually leading me to my awakening. It’s been a process. I have never spent so much time alone in my life. But this transitional period has allowed me to actually sit with myself, which is something I had lost the ability to do. Not only did this lead to me refining what I want for my love life, but I also moved on from some friendships that were no longer serving what I was trying to become. I have been able to more easily take assessments of my life and find out what is making me happy/unhappy. I took a new job with better learning opportunities that will lead to longer spaces for travel. I traveled alone A LOT to countries that I had only ever dreamed of as a child. My health and routine is a much bigger priority, and while I am still trying new things and seeing what I like and don’t like, the presence of this priority has helped me immensely. Although I still have moments of anxiety, restlessness, questioning, comparison...I feel like I can take in a breath to the deepest point now. I can live with content and fullness and am not on constant extreme highs and extreme lows. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you’ve been a pretty significant part of my life for several months. I really thank you for all of the inner and outer work that you have done and then shared with your audience.

My mum made me care about what other people thought of me. How I dressed, how I spoke, everything. I honestly felt like she taught me to p*ssy foot around everyone in life. Be courteous of everyone no matter what. Yes I'm a very well mannered individual. But theres a fine line between kissing ass and being a genuinely lovely member of the community. Even these days if someone is rude or horrible or cruel to me, I try so damn hard not to let anything get to me. But we are all human at the end of the day and its very hard to change how your mother has brought you up to be like.

Ich fand deine 30 day vulnerability challenge so toll! Das hat dich noch "realer" gemacht und man sieht, dass auch erfolgreiche Menschen ihre struggles haben. Danke nochmal dafür 😊 ganz liebe Grüße aus Panama 🌴

Wouldn't have guessed that you are a fellow Bavarian ;) - Your English is pretty good (a bit of an understatement: It is outstanding). I myself pride myself on speaking the language fluently, but I would probably trip up sooner or later when talking in front of a camera, so:
    Well done!
Didn't enjoy the stuff about eating (I don't think a plant based diet is ideal, but on the other hand: You do you! Whatever works for you!)
I prefer frugalism (so no buying useless stuff (or a coffee from Starbucks...I'd rather bring my own, or stick to tab-water!) you will not enjoy long term - hell, when I buy tech-gadgets I mull the decision over for months before I buy something!) over minimalism. I don't own a massive amount of stuff (it after all still fits in a single room which also contains my bed - I don't have an extra bedroom and I am fine with that!), but only owning a suitcase full? Hm...doubt I could do and frankly I do not want to!

Love it! Just stared with a few points and really enjoying caring less of what others think. But it's more easy away from home to be honest so this is going to be my next challenge. And the perfectionism is my nemesis so i really need to fuck it and finally start my own business cuz not trying if failing already. Love from Thailand 🌺

Best video I've seen since quite a while. I am glad you switch to English language on your vlogs, otherwise I couldn't have reached you. A lot of what you say in this video, especially about the news, perfectionism and comparing to others, resonates with me and thought about it through time. It was inspiring what you said about how to do things, also, in addition of that, sometimes if you just do it your own way and also be aware of the ways others do it, you can take from that what you need/suites you, so it can become a both way learning process. But in order to benefit that, you should be aware of doing things your own way.

    GRreat info, thank you!
Would you mind telling us how you cope with "stopping to care to be there for your family personally"?... I am sure you are (whatsapp, etc).... but I am very alike to you in my soul but I have not been able to let go of being there for my elder family...they are getting sick and old and there is always someone who needs help now... Now that I am at a age where I finally I thought I could be free for REAL (finished university) I find myself so dependent and feeling kind of "guilty" for going away for MONTHS again as I have been doing it for the past years....
So: Apart from spending a birthday in Bavaria or texting with your mum/siblings or so... do yu never feel regrets for just doing your own thing regarding family? Or do they never make you feel guilty? (Then you`re very lucky:D!!)
THANKS, I would appreciate some feedback.....
KEEP IT GOING CONNI! YOU ROOOOOOCK!

    • @ConniBiesalski
      @ConniBiesalski  7 лет назад +1

My whole life has been very nomadic since I was a teenager, it's the way my family knows me. They respect my desire for freedom and my need to be a world citizen who lives anywhere. I also have three siblings, so I am not the center of attention. And so far, my parents are both still well and healthy. If anything happened, I would make sure to come home more often to visit, but my homebase would never be Germany. They know how unhappy I would be there in the long run.
Guilt-tripping sucks and I am sorry to hear this is your reality. But in the end, we cannot live our lives for anyone else if it means we end up not living our authentic truth.

Ok I just wrote to you on Facebook too but I'll still reply here in case anyone else wants to join the conversation....
Do you realise (rhetorical question, I am sure you do) that by sharing things you give other people permission to share on the same level.
So you posting this and saying 'don't wait for perfect just get it out there' is powerful.
      AND
by the same notion, when you post a video of you crying about something that hurts, that is extremely powerful.
So thanks for going first and giving permission to us that aren't as brace.... yet 😁
