Every major rock band has a power ballad. Ozzy Osbourne Momma I'm Coming Home, Close My Eyes Forever (Lita Ford); Poison, Every Rose Has A Thorn; Kiss, Beth. Motley Crew, Home Sweet Home. This is obviously BABYMETAL's Power Ballad and gives them a chance to catch their breath for a couple of minutes so they can continue the absolute marathon that they must endure with the show's dance routine.
SU's voice is Magic！
I was impressed with her voice!
how many young female or even male lead singers can promote so much emotion thru their voice even thru a video to make the person listening feel the emotion. not very many can do this. I don't understand what she is saying but I understand the title and I can imagine what is being said. but this song like other people have said it gets me every time. this version is the best of the few times they have done this song live. Su didn't want to do it until she was ready. she wanted to show the emotion in this song when they performed it. and you are right in that no two Babymetal songs sound the same. each is different. each has a meaning. each has a different style of music. to me no other band is so diverse in their song set. most bands you listen to one song and you have heard them all. this makes Babymetal that much better.

It's a very powerful song. And if and when you do read the lyrics, it'll make you tear up as soon as the piano starts in the beginning. I am so impressed how she can sing sync with her own pre-recorded harmonies that you can't even tell. Her voice was incredible when she was 13 in Megitsune. It's matured into a sound that does stir the soul. Whenever she hits those long notes like at the end of Karate, it gives me chills. I've also watched her in a few of the Sakura Gakuin episodes, including her graduation speech from there, she is so intelligent, poised, and composed all the time. Even the teachers back then knew she had a good singing voice and a powerful stage presence. Of course, it's also really cute to see Moa-chan and Yui-chan together as they were already best friends before Babymetal, and already performed with Su-chan and others in Sakura Gakuin. Yui-chan auditioned for Sakura Gakuin when she saw Su-chan perform when she was in Karen Girls idol group.
Her voice just gets better as she gets older very emotional song.
Su Metal's voice is superb as always and, like when I listen to most opera, I can appreciate the sound and feel the passion without knowing what the hell it means!
Theres no shame in that man . I tear up everytime too , and Im 6, 4 and strong lookin . But it means shit . Its what you relate to . And Su and band convey the emotion , that we all feel . Respect man
I get goosebumps everytime I listen to this song or any song with Su solo. She has glorious golden vocal cords of the metal gods.

This song is so touching, SU performance is so intense, the Kami band here gives its best, overall it's such a precious gift to her birthplace 😏
You don't have to speak a language to understand. I think you can feel the emotions in this song, and it was certainly very emotional for Su himself. Very well done.
This song is basically about grief as far as I can tell, it talks about not wanting to forget someone and the last line roughly translates to "a never-ending rain continues to fall in my heart even now" maybe that's why you found it emotional?

Kami Band member Leda Cygnus is credited with the song arrangement and was on stage the first three times this song was performed.
The two Legend S shows in Hiroshima had Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars.
I love how they have a close-up on Mikio during this part:

This and The One is two of their best ballads.
yeah their music composition is very unique and different from song to song. anyone who scrutinizes music composition can appreciate all the musical interplay between instrument and singing. masterpiece

And since it was very important, I'll repeat my comment :-) : I think at the point where you choked up Su was crying as well. At 2:08 in your video Su sings "We shall never meet again, but I don't want to forget you ever", while they are showing their late guitarist Mikio who died at age 36. This was recorded on his last show with the band. R.I.P. Mikio!
And thumbs up to you again for opening up to the emotions that the song evokes!
MacTaipan, Su made a promise to Mikiko, the BM choreographer she would never cry on stage, so as much as you would like to believe she was crying, I’d say she kept her promise
OK, let's just agree that she put a lot of emotion into it.
@@The_Great_Darino how do you know she made that promise? Just curious. Also maybe she wasnt crying, but she did shed tears, you can see her eyes water up in the song and you hear her voice waver too at one point. I think her choking up is a good thing anyhow, it increased the power of the song 100 fold.
Jeremy Boynowski I’ve seen it mentioned a couple of times that Su, in a blog, made a promise to Mikiko, her long time choreographer, that she would never cry onstage to ensure the best performance possible. If you check online you’ll see it mentioned but I’ve never seen the blog itself
Big Ragu is right. If You watch Suzuka's graduation speech followed by Moa's speech and then "My Graduation Toss" performance, You will see how almost every girls is crying at some point, but Su barely choke during speech, Rinon also did not cry at all (but there were no vegetables around :P ). Emotion in her voice are on the another level though, when I was tanslating this song to my native language I broke tears many times over 1 hour. I have no idea how she can stay so strong on stage when this is song is so important to whole group...

Cool reaction! I've just came across your channel and only found 3 Babymetal reactions on it - what happened to the rest of them (you mentioned more than 10)? Did you delete them or were they blocked by RUclips? It's a shame because I enjoyed those 3 reactions I can watch at the moment.
