That leaves Fischer who adds value on that checking line and pk. I personally think Kasper helps the team more than Fischer does because Kasper plays Fischer's type of game but with much more skill. I'd say maybe split time with Fischer and Kasper but that doesn't do much for Kasper in terms of gaining experience. I think Kasper has an 80% shot at this point in time. He's played 2 preseason games. If he can keep it consistent I think Yzerman forces himself to make some adjustments and send someone packing. Mazur has been nice but I think he isn't quite ripe enough yet. Wouldn't doubt an appearance later in the season if some injuries happen though.
Horrible play by play announcer and the colour commentary is annoying to say the least. Feel sorry for Detroit fans if they have to listen to this all season.
Where is the high lights of the checks and physical part of the game. It’s all pass and shoot. This is why a lot of people I know don’t follow the wings anymore. They play way way way too soft. The wings don’t even play rough and tumble North America hockey anymore it’s European big rink hockey. Can Rasmussen please check someone. Softies
