He has to go..... his system is great for a team trying to rebuild from the foundation but for a team that's looking to take the next step it doesn't work. The Red Wings currently are not very exciting to watch. They appear somewhat timid in shooting the puck and get mixed up on defense. This comment comes from someone who never played organized hockey in his life but has been a dedicated fan since the early 60's and a season ticket holder at the Red Barn and Joe Louis. I like the character of the players and how they never seem to make excuses. I am just confused why they haven't yet been able to step it up from the end of last year.

I feel like Stevie might hold it too long with him... by numbers, teams get a Jumpstart with a coaching change. I feel, this year, like he's stifling talent or at bare minimum, not motivating enough. It's hard to not direct eyes towards yzerman though, as by pure stats, this team was set to digress unless the prime talent takes off insanely.

Get rid of petry and Chiarot, Rasmussen,Copp, Tarasenko, Fischer and bring in the young guys. Sink or swim. Cant be any worse than what they are now. At least with younger guys they’ll have fire and legs to move
