A couple of years ago, me, and an old army buddy were driving the south. we stopped in Macon GA for a couple of nights. Having drinks in the Humming Bird Bar, we met a gentleman by the name of Newton Collier. He drives a cab. He is one of the trumpet players in this video on the right of the stage. A very cool guy and a pleasure to spend time with. He unfortunately got shot in the face at a gas station during a robbery, he was an innocent bystander. He can still play though.

The Shabazz....., the Black Man has not lost what you think He has lost. There are plenty of successful Black Men, many of whom weren't even born when this was aired in 1970: Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Le Bron James, Jamie Foxx. Shaquille O'Neal, Barack Obama, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Dwayne Wade, Russell Wilson, Chris Tucker, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Kanye West, Michael Jordan, Jay Z, Kirk Franklin, Lawrence Martin, Kevin Hart, track stars Arriyon Knighton, and Noah Lyles, basketball players Giannis Ugo Sina Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and the list continues, as it approaches "positive" infinity.
