    Interesting and well said but have to disagree on real estate
    May not be for everyone one but if you know how to repair homes and you have a goal to pay down loans
    it’s been a pretty good investment....

    Love the editing & the music used in this vid! However i pretty much only agree to the warren buffet segment, i'm iffy with the american dream & i disagree that owning a home is a bad investment.
    For example i live in Melbourne, Australia & over a period of 12 months many suburbs have had, fast house price growth for several different reasons. One of which was because the radius of the CBD was extended by 10%, so a suburb called Box Hill had an increase of 42.4% in its valuation. So if the median price of a house there is $1,270,000 now, that means that it's increased in value by nearly 540,000.
    So if you bought a house there at the start of the year, sell it now & you've made over half a million dollars in 12 months from 1 house! No maintenance was needed & no mortgage was to be paid for a long period of time either. Best of all, if you're smart, these type of scenario's are foreseeable.

    That is not the American Dream. That is the commercialized rip off version. The real American Dream is freedom to make the most of your own life. That's it.

      Besides, a stable job is not a trap! It was conceived to protect the worker, since you can quit when you want, but you can’t be fired anytime at the boss’ whim.

    I have to disagree if you own your house free and clear. It's a great piece of Mind and feeling don't have to worry about landlords hovering over you or moving constantly in some cases . Paying just property taxes is a hell of a lot cheaper than paying rent. I'm saving over $2,000 a month. Plus I can design and do what I want with my house inside and outside. Get to know your neighbors on a personal level and keep an eye out for each other.

    I'm not one to judge the physical handsomeness of a man given I'm a heterosexual male, but this guy is downright disheveled and unattractive. You might say to yourself, "well what does his appearance have to do with his knowledge or credibility on the topic?" Well I say a lot. I agree that we shouldn't judge people on their appearance, but if you're going to attempt to gain credibility on giving professional financial advice, you should get a haircut and dress for the part.

    • @Shifty3651727
      @Shifty3651727 7 лет назад +7

      'cause he doesn't need any of that shit. He's pure genius. Did Einstein have a good appearance? Maybe normal people need to get a nice haircut and dress for the part, but geniuses don't.

    • @ConsumeristScroffa
      @ConsumeristScroffa 7 лет назад +7

      Here's the deal, pal. If you can accept the notion that dressing up and getting a nice haircut is highly effective to most of the people that you want to get attention from, then you can clearly see that maybe this guy doesn't give a fuck if he attracts most people to hear him out.
      And here's the good part. He's right not wanting to give a fuck about most people. Most people will discredit his opinions anyway even if he wore a suit and looked attractive just because the truth may contradict with their way of thinking.
      So he prefers to be heard by those who will be open-minded in the first place to not get discouraged by his appearance.
