Due to arthritis of the fingers and hands, I can no longer build models as I used too. But through your videos Alex, I can still enjoy the hobby almost as much as if I was doing it myself. Don't lose your passion for it my friend.
Damn, that's one of the nicest A-4 builds ever! And what you did with it was outstanding. The level of detail on the photoetch blew me away. I'm not sure how long it took you to do the riveting but it was well worth it. Show winning quality if ever there was such a thing. Thanks for showing it to us Alex.
I have the older version that I hope to get round to building, but I don't think it will turn out to be as good as yours. I bought it on ebay thinking it was the new tooled one. It is not as good though.
Hello Alex! I had never seen working a modeler with photo etched parts........well, there's always a first time and I wanted to know how it is like. Very exciting video. Very nice surprise since A4 skyhawk is one of my very favorite jet fighters. The way I see it, A4 skyhawk and BAe Systems Hawk T1 and T2 are basically, the very same aircraft. In fact, if you put one drawing above the other, the superposition is amazing! The reason for BAe Hawk not to be supersonic is because it doesn't have an afterburner (being a turbo fan engine) nevertheless could reach beyond MACH 1.0 while in dive. One more question: I'm seeing that photo etched sheet is Eduard's, right? but, as far as I can see, panel instrument provided by Airfix is only a piece of plastic without the form of an instrument panel? (around minute 4:35). Wow, what a finishing! what a level of detail into the canopy. 16.25 minute, amazing that technique for masking the windshield. This level of detail and finishing for a small airplane in 1/72 scale? you must be a God from the Olympus! What a beauty! As usual super model and great video. Thank you for sharing Alex.
How do you do it. You must be magic or a wizard. You make it look so easy my friend. I couldn't come close to your level but I try. Thank you Alex blessings from America
Hi Alex. What base colour did you use for top grey? When you are painting It seems like fs 16440, but when you apply lights It looks like more blueish. Thanks and contrat for your models.
+UKscalemodeller Hello Ian thank you! Nothing to do and... it helps:) can you believe that this morning i started another 1/72 and its decal ready already? Don t know if thats good or bad... lol.. thanks
Very nice job, Alex. The weathering is really cool. Rescribing panel lines and punching rivets at that scale is nothing I could do. I guess I would have sliced that beauty into pieces with tons of 'nice' bullet holes and that's why I leave that to you, hehehe! Have a nice weekend. :)
Hi Alex, Nice build, I enjoyed watching very much, you do great stuff that I learn lots from you. In my mind the only comments I have is that I think the upper gull grey was a bit dark and could have been a bit more lighter in colour due to harsh tropical sunshine at sea etc. Not much darker to the underneath I reckon. Also I thought the panel lines are a bit over done maybe a slightly darker grey would have done plus a little bit more sanding down on the riveting. Otherwise a great model. Maybe you could show some reference images in your videos as an extra interest thing to give us an idea on what you are trying to achieve. Food for thought. Cheers..Graham
+International British Modeler Hello Martin how are you? Thank you... loved this one.. this Airdix kit is very very good! I still have some videos of yours to watch my friend!
I;m doing okay, thanks, Alex...hope you;re doing well, too? I hope you enjoy my videos when you watch them....I;ve just watched over 40 videos in the last couple of days since completing my Tornado, to catch up with other modelers builds...when I get lost in a model...video watching gets put on the back-burner. Cheers : )

One of my favourite builds so far Alex. Highlight for me was the detailing of the cockpit and seat, The photo etch really made it stand out.
