One of my favorite tenor sax players ever! There are others, of course (Coltrane, Rollins, Henderson, etc). Hear that sound, that tone! Cheers from Brazil. I am a jazz drummer! Everybody, please be safe!

Obviously a contemporary great. But I can never get used to those bended notes. Coltrane is the benchmark for beautiful ballads .

Lage is much younger. Long hair. Somewhat more moderne approach You must have seen the vid of them playing together and mixed them up. Either that, or all jazz guitarists after Abercrombie,Benson, Pass, Metheny, Jim Hall and Wes Montgomery and the pervasive influence of Berkelee-think...sound pretty much the same.

That's how it's done: a smooth take off from this our Earth plane into the spiritual realm and safely back to mother Earth's womb-soil!

It's not even compared to Michael Breckers version or Eddie Daniels. Michael's the goat of all tenor players

lol comparing this to breckers version when the best of all time is coltranes. not a competition but if it was you'd still be wrong
