Thank you for the demonstration. My strumming pattern varies just a little differently from yours (I put in more Island strum) - but the timing is just the same. You're doing a great job (Diana).
That was brilliant and really helpful - I'm motivated to learn to play it, but my goodness, you make it look so damn easy! I'd better practice some more. Thanks for a great tutorial.
The trick is... It is easy. It's either down or up and repetition to develop muscle memory in your fretting hand. have you seen this one: ruclips.net/video/xjikOUwcQBw/видео.html
Helpful tutorial, great ! Is your ukulele set on a Low G or Hight G ? And how do you know when you buy a ukulele if the cords on it is Low G or High G. I’m a beginner so that’s why I want to understand. Thank you 😊 🇨🇦
Hi G on this one Chantal. So the low g is a lower pitch than the C string. (3rd string from the bottom). Where as the standard re-entrant tuning for most Ukes the 4th of top string is tuned an octave higher. So it sounds brighter when you strum. Low g is good if you like to play melodies. Hope that helps.
Thank you!
Thank you! Just saw this. Can't wait to get home and practice this.
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏 You’re awesome

Great video. Got this nailed now. Just not sure about a nice ending as Stu doesn’t play that part...
In the very intro of the video would be a good ending. Then howl at the moon!

@@ukemullum Ok but let’s say you would want a low G, do you have to change the string or just to tune it to low G ?
@@chantalsaulnier2746 you’d need a special string.
@@ukemullum ok thank you for your much needed help. 👍
