Thankyou,as a paramedic of 15 years these firefighters really shed light on what we go through. From dark humor to leaving it at the door.. I know several who have substance abuse issues. Also knew many who committed suicide. I love that these men are looking out for mental health. For a long time all we had was our partner.

That little boy that tried to take it off the stove and then went and shielded his sister was very brave.

To think he was only four years old, and he wasn't thinking about himself in this horrible situation...his sister was so right in calling him her hero.

Exactly what a hero at 4 years old. This little boy is ferry special. I don't understand how you can leave such little children allone. When my daughters where younger i would not even leave them at home alone for walking the dog. In a small period of time there can go so much wrong. So sad just awful

I personally feel that Jessica Tata should have received the death penalty for evading arrest and initially leaving the country. This was a travesty and heartbreaking for the parents and us as a community.

She fuccin should have! My sister KENDYLL died in this fire she was 1 1/2.. she hasn’t even been charged with her murder. They say if she try to get out then they will bring the other charges. Fucc since that makes , I never heard no ish like that! Like Target was that important.. no she was just careless and ain’t give a fucc. Money hungry and couldn’t wait til the babies was home to go to Target. Like tf.
She deserves LIFE at the minimum . These where babies/Toddlers that didn’t even have the understanding to get out the house! Just started effin walking. That B smh wild 🤬🤯

Thank you for dedicating so much of the interview to mental health. We need people to start talking about mental health. We need people to understand that **it's okay to not feel okay!** It's okay to need someone to talk to that is a professional. We have to start talking about it, in the open, so that it loses that stygma created by keeping mental health issues secret - as if they are some horrible thing. It doesn't mean you are crazy; it doesn't mean you are weak; it doesn't mean you are out of control.

Statistic shows that people working with saving lives (doctors, nurses, animal rescuers, EMS, firefighters etc.) are more prone to commit suicide, than other professions. It's just sad, that they don't get the help,, when they need it the most.

This is a prime example of babysitters using the term "Daycare." There are laws on the books and if she were running a state sanctioned daycare there absolutely would have been requirements for staff according to number of children as well as age of children.

After finding this series I don't think I'll ever watch dateline again 😅

    • @saddletramp5000
      @saddletramp5000 5 месяцев назад

Dateline, 48 hours Mystery, 20/20 et al are scripted and edited. Biased and usually leaning more to one side over the other, wanting viewers to form an opinion around their own. Where this series just takes us through the facts of the case with people who were there. Even when they speak with the defense and prosecuting attorneys, you don't sense they have an opinion one way or the other. This is what investigative journalism should look like.
Take the 48 Hours Mystery episodes of the West Memphis 3 with Erin Moriarty for example. The first airing was balanced for the most part, showing the evidence from both the defense and prosecutor. In the second episode reviewing the case, they go over the problems from each side, albeit their focus was mostly on the mistakes of the prosecution. But it seriously blew my mind how in the third episode they completely bent and molded the facts to fit a narrative around innocence. With Johnny Depp and Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam vocalist), among others, making public statements that they believe in their innocence. Starting a petition to get the three men, who were already found guilty by a jury of their peers, a new trial. As well as fundraising so Echols and his cohorts could afford to hire high profile defense attorneys. All while ignoring any evidence that would have made it impossible for the prosecuters to offer them an Alford plea. Which they ultimately took, and have since been released from serving their life sentences, Echols a death by Lethal injection sentence, in prison. Echols is married and living his life as a rock star, even getting matching tattoos with his bestie, Depp. When first leaving prison, he and his wife lived in Peter Jackson's NYC apartment offered to them by the writer/producer/director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Not showing an ounce of remorse for the young boys who were disgarded like trash in a muddy creek, after being mol×st×d and t×rtured, years ago in Arkansas. And instead of using his talent of writing, he penned zero books about finding the real killer/killers. Instead he's authored books about himself, and on magic(k) in the occult. Oh, pardon me. "Spiritual books" I guess they're being called.
Because that's exactly what innocent people who are sent to prison do. Spend most of their waking time studying magic and becoming much closer to their true father, the devil.
      Isn't that right?

Fire fighters were arriving so ambulances & police. I felt so much impotence. I saw how they were pulling their lifeless bodies 😔
The horrific scenes haunted me for yrs as I drove by the house after the incident. Little angels RIP 😢

What's so sad and concerning is that "Men's Men" natural role is that of protectors but with that comes the inner belief system that a real man can't show percieved weakness and that being depressed or having something haunt you is somehow weak. We need to do better at motivating strength in our young men all while teaching them they are humans and humans feel.

    • @variousJnames

@rg8162 She intentionally left several toddlers alone while she was being paid for their care. She was an irresponsible 24 year old who also left a pan of grease on the stove. She fled the country when authorities were looking to arrest her. She deserves the 80 years and more regardless of her ethnicity! She's a danger to children. A child killer.

The woman was trusted to care for children at her daycare. While these children’s parents were at work thinking their children were safe, this woman turned on a stove with oil and left to goto Walmart. While at Walmart, she horsed around and took her time shopping. Like she had no care in the world. She decided that day to play god and burn her house down with children inside. She should have received the death penalty. There are people on death row right now for robbing a gas station and during the robbery killing someone. None of this case has to do with race!
The entire race thing is beyond old. People will find racism in everything. It’s disgusting! The sad thing is that it’s played so much that the people who are actual victims of racism will not believed.

The second firefighter in the row, when he talked about firefighters " making jokes" about the calls they were just on, or "laughing" as a way to 'COPE' with a specific call.... That is what I learnt when I was interning with my local Fire Department while going to school for my FIRST RESPONDER Certificate. That release is more beneficial than anyone would imagine. 🥹
