America is a mob that doesn't know how to think for themselves. 👌 Haha. I went into a store maskless yesterday after getting home from Colombia. The mask mandate was lifted the day before, and every single person was still wearing a mask. 😂
Another fire intro and podcast from the best Asian podcast host in the game 🔥 Wes seems like a really cool dude, love how he's a pioneer in the Asian masculinity space. Really cool to see a fellow Asian brotha breaking the mold and paving the road to show that Asian men don't have to be nerdy tech guys!
@wheresWes great interview! Lots of great points! "Work on yourself and the woman will come" and "hook up culture is whack" great words from a great man! Congratulations and many blessings! To you all!
Dude, crazy interview. I resonated pretty much everything in this video. Turning 28 next month, late bloomer, found game through the PUA community (RSD, Roosh, etc) and now turning more into relationships/religious values.
Both these guys are looking at the playing field from two (2) different perspectives. And the expectations are two (2) different expectations. Most young people don't even know what they want. It's all random. I grew up in Lost Angeles. It's been jacked up for 25 -30 years.
As a Hispanic dude, let me just say that BTS did not "popularized" dating Asians. Hispano world has had large Asian communities for centuries, largest one being in Brazil and their Japanese community, Mexico, Cali, Ecuador, Peru, DR, not matter how much of a minority they were mixing has never been an issue, among any kind. We don't totally play up those stereotypes that prevail are in the U.S. , sure we may joke about it here and there but not fully embrace them as facts and everybody gets their own version of it. S'all good.
I agree for the second part, but BTS 100% popularized dating Asians. Look at all of the interracial Asian and Latin couples that are popping up on RUclips the last few years. It's directly related to the rise of Kpop. I agree it is probably more common here in Latin America but BTS definitely made it cool to do so.
great discussion. you guys mentioned a lot of key points. cost of living in the bay area and Sacramento region is constantly going. which is making dating and finding a partner super tough. also the lack of masculinity being displayed has contributed to the frustration in certain young male.
The host is such an optimist and seems to focus on the positive in everyone and situation while the Wes guy is more of a realist. He does talk a bit negative and doesn’t shy away from saying it how it is. Although fundamentally they agree on things, the contrast in personalities made such a interesting dynamic
Asian dating life is much simpler in Asia. Date few in-town, out-town girls, have some fun, find the right one. It just amazes me you guys need to spend so much brain energy just on dating. Dating should be fun and relaxing. Girl likes who you are in Asia. Nerd or not, it should not be matter. Date should not like doing a super hard math problem.
That's wassup, representing that Asian pride...going unique by leaving the origin to find something new especially when the dollar goes a long way elsewhere! I also wanna venture out to somewhere unknown to find myself and get some culture in me.
Watching these interviews always gives a great perspective on things haha like right from the beginning about LA and it’s funny when SF is brought up was mentioned being from the Bay can’t disagree 😅 awesome interview 👍🏽
Stumbled on this trying to gain perspective on dating in Colombia as an expat. Super cool to hear a different perspective on dating because Im always looking up dating as it relates to black women. But good interview nonetheless ! Good to see you guys don’t necessarily have the exact same experiences necessarily & giving two different perspectives. I felt the burn of that black and asian women comment on the stereotype of having attitudes lol. 😂😂 Wes is very very wise though and I can tell he has a coaches heart for sure. Btw women are the prize ultimately all throughout history will prove it and currently! “He that fineth a wife findeth a good thing”😉💎
"We want some one to come to".....AMEN Wes!!! I too don't like this stupid fling culture here in the US. I am still using dating apps....approaching 40 next year....and am hoping to get married soon. Shit, I envy you that you were able to pack up and leave the US.
I think it's cool how you came from texas. Why Las Vegas though? I'm in Hawaii and decided on Las Vegas or Texas. I heard Texas has more asians and better cost of living. Las vegas is good too and has some people from Hawaii.
I've lived in many places and Las Vegas is one of my favorite spots. I used to visit a lot while I was living in Los Angeles. Texas is awesome as well, but I've lived there my whole life so I just wanted to venture out.
I don't get it. He says people and his friends are having through go and get abortions. That's fine but do they use protection? Genuinely curious because my friends who did hookup too. But he was reckless
Oh yeah, LA is good for some, bad for others. If you got the looks / clout / fashion / money / network etc I think LA is great. Bay is just bad for everyone haha.
Colombia is to far,I m live in west Europe, no many latina women, and asian have weak/féminized stéréotype.(BTS no help for men betwen 35-40). But i m meet many young eastern callgirls (polish, Ukraine, russian etc..) they says asian Men have better chance in east. ( I m leave in progressist country,i suppose progrssist women are racist)
This guy gave terrible advice and his Christian born again influence gives hima disdain for hooking up. "Be successful and women will come to you" -Right... terrible advice for guys who are successful but never get any girls because they never took action
He seems very knowledgeable, but also fetishizing Latinas is not a good look. Especially being Latino myself. Hearing this perspective of going to a "foreign country" for the women and their "submissiveness" is gross and creepy. He's a cool guest, but the fetishizing is not cool.
Great podcast my dude I had a great time, you're a great interviewer!
Thank you dude! It was really interesting to hear your perspectives!

It's about time. Loved the discussion at the end
I can confirm, Colombia is the best for Asian men. I go a lot to Medellín and I kill it really easy tbh. (I'm chinese btw)
so are arabs, black and white guys are flocking to medellin as well, what is comical is u guys are traveling for same reasons, for a orgasm
Only 10 mins in, I definitely agree almost all that's been said. Digging the podcast

Not just Asian, passport bro as well.
Great interview and agree with nearly everything that was said. Experienced some myself in the younger years
Where would you recommend meeting women outside of the club and apps?
Great interview

I was really worried when you said you didn't like Black or Asian girls - thanks for clarifying
yea, he doesnt like american/ western women.
Damnn
I get the struggle, it has everything to do with the media we consume, we base our lives around it.
Wes is cool as hell

I'm the opposite latino and want to be in asian culture but Columbia is not bad top latin ladies next to Brazil.

His views on casual dating seem like an overcorrection after a pregnancy scare. Hopefully, he doesn't rush into marriage and regret it later.
If you speak decent spanish and understand the culture and can make use of it, you gonna nail it outperforming others who just speak english.
que bien .......gran chico
Low key feels like playing the stereotypical Asian will get more girls because there’s girls that fetishize Asian men
Damn I want to go to Colombia. I want to be Colombian women’s Asian papi or Asian gringos
we support you BRO. but be careaful because of that recent muder of that hmong in medelin
