And that, Ladies and Gentlemen… is what is referred to as “leaving it all out there.” If you don’t feel something as you view this performance, see your healthcare provider. You may have issues.
Jagged Little Pill dominated the music scene back in the day, and three decades later, Alanis is still a powerhouse. Kudos, the lifeforce is mucho impressive in this one.
No one could ever convince me these words don't completely resonate with her. This song has truly helped me with a very bad experience. She's an amazing story teller. ❤
Can you imagine being able to make people feel something that they can’t even explain and leave them in awe on this kind of level by simply doing something you were so clearly born to do?! I’ve watched dozens of her live performances on RUclips and in the comments on every single video there’s one comment after another of people saying they get chills. I get them too and always have over the years. She is everything!
When this song came out, I was a drummer in a progressive power metal band. I remember hearing this song and recognizing how very dark and heavy it was. Such an incredibly powerful song.
Good god almighty with a second almighty and goosebumps to the core!! How is she still sooooo good?!? Such a beautiful talent and voice, I’ve loved this song since it came out, she still sounds the same, has the same stage presence and the same love for her craft as she did in the beginning. It’s mind blowing, spectacular performance from her and the band.. I’m here for it! Love it..
I wonder how many musically-minded out there understand the Indian classical raga that forms the base of this song… I’m not sure if it’s Raga Bhimpalasi or something else… but the scale itself. Alanis is a total yogi though, and her brother, Wade Imre Morissette, is a well-known kirtan (yoga) singer. I’ve heard his songs numerous times in yoga classes. Just imagine a male version, deeper voice of Alanis. 😂 But the fact that their family are all yogis and interested in Indian philosophy is evident in all of Alanis' lyrics. For example, and not least of all, "Thank you, India". 🙏🏼
Most artists, when they move their head back from the mic, it’s because they can’t hit the notes. It’s obvious that she does it because, even with sound checks, the system couldn’t handle it..she’s still got it! Damn!
Onyx. You were awesome. Mom better watch out you might be taking over her spot in the band soon. Lol❤love you Alanis Moresette, love the 80s & 90s, that is when the real music exists.
Not many artist have had so many hit songs wrote their own music. I never really knew this but some of the biggest bands, and artist never wrote a single hit song it was all produced for them. Many of the songs Madonna is famous for she didn't write any of them. Same thing with Heart like the hit song Alone it was written by 2 other guys.
She’s onto something here, I had one like this recently that was difficult to fling loose. Sometimes, ya just gotta tell ‘em! And if anyone can deliver a message, it’s a real artist like Alanis that can get the job done with grace and awesome majesty. Tell him, girl!
She’s 50 now and still sounds like she did on Jagged Little Pill in 1995. Truly, truly incredible.
And lost the baby weight, so good for her

Can you feel this!!! Bubble gum swift does not come close!
And Alanis would frown upon your comment, let us not compare but realize there are different flavors for different folks...
Bubble gum swift is like swift trucking can't compare to McLean
Who is seeing this repeated over and over again and was still fucking amazed by this amazing person
I get goosebumps every time I hear this song to this day....timeless talent.
She even had goosebumps on her arms at the mic!
My God, she’s still got it! Incredible!

Did Tool write this!?!
Is it just me, or does she look and sound 20 years younger??? What, is, her, secret? ...
She's still beautyfull and her voice is amazing!
Wow, she has to back off the mic to keep from blowing the roof off the place. Alanis still has it.
Hard core fans knew this within the first 3 notes. Respect.
Alanis changed the game when she entered, not too many people have done that (nirvana did it, Chappell Roan might potentially do it now)
D!!!! Thank you for Uploading this!!! Freakin Bitchin'!!!
I'm usually not speechless.....but.....wow...SO damn freaking good....
Wow. what a performance 👏👏👏 Her voice is so amazing still ❤😊👍🌹
She’s still got it .
Bendiciones para mis guerreras y mis diosas divinas
The prime of rock music by female came from 90s. Yes Alanis the tops one there.
Late 70s/early 80s Pat Benatar, Ann Wilson and Stevie Nicks would like a word

Wow watching an artist in their place. Amazing. Inspired. Thank you
The headbanging had me sold, my god is she amazing!!! Ppl of this generation dont even understand good music anymore. Last of the greats.
The amount of energy she is putting into this performance is amazing. She’s possessed by the music.
Ela continua fantástica
I think the older woman Alanis sing better than the young Alanis!!! I love it, what she do!!💖💖💖
Dam I have been in love with this women since the 90s killer Voice and sexy doing it 👌bravo

Not exactly a fan, but damn this tune rocks! Sounds better than the original! She is still as nutty as I remember!
I'm just a couple of years older than her and if i turn my head too quickly, my equilibrium could b thrown off for the rest of the day. WTF alanis ?!
The perfect combination of a really great song, and an emotional punch in the gut delivery by an incredible artist. BRAVA!
This melody has been stick in my head for days and youtube randomly recommends this without me doing a search on anything related to this song. Hmm...
Like watching a female version of Thom Yorke.
sm58 is a 100 dollar microphone and it kills
Sounds amazing and looking healthy again
Mad as a bag of snakes.
Always loved her.
That was the best "hair guitar" solo I've ever heard. :)

Awesome! I love her energy and how she jumps around the stage bursting with energy!
What did she do to her face??? It was so perfect, so beautiful,,,
Ah, Yes! Alanis Morissette! 🔥🔥❤❤❤❤🔥🔥
Alanis stated in a 1999 interview that this song was inspired by a restraining order she had issued against me back in 1991.
