honestly even if the whole line up of hybrid corolla crosses are winners it will be spoiled by the toyota buying experience. if its anything like buying the hybrid alphard, zenix etc. (dealer incentive, top up, opaque waiting lists etc. sama mo na exorbitant markups from secondary dealers who always seem to have them on hand)
2011-engine ito! 😂 Ikaw nagpapauto sa “hybrid is the future”, and kulang sa pansin kasi sasabihing “backward mag-isip” ang mga internal combustion engine fans, kung marunong nga kayong mag-isip, dapat malalaman nyo na kahit 1.8L hybrid engine ito, this is the 2011-released 2ZR-FXE from the pinaglumaan na mga Prius sa western countries! 🤡🤡🤡🤷🤣 Worse, hindi ito lithium-ion battery, this is the nickel-metal hydride battery kasi nga 2011-model itong engine na ito! 😂 O ayan mga gung-gong! “Hybrid is the future” pa! 😂😂😂
Honestly I would sacrifice 1-2 inches off the infotainment screen for physical controls/knobs.. that reminds me of third-party Android tablet-style head units😅
Whoa they are actually stepping up their game adding more safety bits and power tailgate and e-parking brake, dash cam. Thanks to the chinese market that already have those features way back on their older unit/model comes standard also considering what Daihatsu did about NCAP safety on their vehicles they need to get some people’s trust again. I think the interior still somewhat dated and the car is over priced. Im sure some wont agree specially those fan of this brand..not hating on japanese/brand market since I own JP and Chinese vehicles. Sometimes people will say for the reliability and durability/ aftersales, resale value I think we all need to be more open minded not just because its a brand thats been in the country for a while but giving people less for their buck.

Interesting that Toyota Ph decides to offer only HEV. In cambodia and thailand market there is still an option for ICE. The Ph youtube are probably the only english available review for SEA models so thx guys
Malaysian reviews are in English. Though, if from the Philippines... I wouldn't suggest watching it. All you'll see are better versions of the car for pretty much the same (and sometimes lower) prices. Makes it feel quite painful knowing you're getting less bang for buck.
@@Kyle-kc8cw i couldn't find Malaysia review in English. Well, if it makes u feel any better, the top of the line C Cross HEV 2024 in Cambodia is USD49k due to high import tax :) Talking about less bang for the buck
Good day... Sir, im planning to buy a new car and setting my sight on the COROLLA CROSS G HYBRID or a YARIS CROSS V VARIANT. I used to drive about 30 km daily on an average. A mix of city and highway drive. What would you recommend. I want to save on gas. Thank you...
Both would be good, both cars are really fuel efficient, but the difference is Corolla Cross is a TNGA, meaning it is using the Toyota platform meaning it's quality and the famous Toyota longevity is definitely there, Daihatsu Kasi Yung Yaris Cross
now i have two questions for this car, 1st, does the GRS variant have more power and torque compared to the other two? 2nd will you make another BTW for the G or GRS varaint. pleasssseeeee. as always, very nice review!!!
You guys didn't mention Toyota "kind'a" cut corners with the hybrid tech battery using old tech Nickel Metal Hydride battery (NiMH) compared to the PREVIOUS production CoroloXhybrid which uses Lithium tech. That kind of battery "kind'a" lasts for a short time JUST ENOUGH to not be covered by the warranty period of 5 years hence the "CHEAPER" initial price. 🤷🏻♂️ Marami nanaman magpaayos ng battery neto in the long run. NOTORIOUS battery for being heavy and having Battery memory problems.
Great video. The 1.8L in Europe has a total of 140HP, and I am seeing that you're mentioning 120HP here. Just trying to understand what differences there might be between the engines. That being said, how did you feel the car's performance? Was acceleration adequate?

Interesting question: Nakadaan kami sa Toyota Alabang to check some vehicles. Napansin namin na while mas madali iparada ang Yaris Cross, mas marami ang rear legroom ni Corolla Cross. Pero again, it depends talaga kung ano habol mo...
Too bad for being hybrid only. This is actually one of my choice, the NA one. The cost of battery will kill the owner after 8 years. Unlike the NA which do not need worry about that.
There are Prius vehicles that still have the original battery even after more than 10 years. Personally, I am not worried about it kasi I never keep my vehicles for more than a decade.
Nice upgrades, but I feel like Toyota PH will just ruin this lineup with absurd sales practices… (e.g. you always seem to be “#15 - 20”, not even an exact number, on a list even 8 months down the line; it’s somehow always available for those buying through in-house financing)

Sunroof on the V variant would kill GR-S sales for sure! It would be an icing on the cake. The lower variants looking way better.
