You can’t compare being a passenger in one car to driving in another car because the feeling is different because you’re not in control as a passenger so it’s only naturally gonna feel faster as a passenger
Very good value for its size. I think the interior looks cheaper than the ''Toyota'' SUVs positioned below this in the Toyota lineup. The interior is also very dark and sombre, especially with its small glass windows. Ground clearance is too low to even be considered a SUV. I guess its really a Corolla station wagon and not an SUV despite what the badge says. Quite thirsty too in the real world for its size and power output. Hi risk and insurance premiums similar to a Hilux. Its a trusted brand with a great dealer network and support. The Toyota resale is myth and applicable to certain models. After all the extra insurance premiums and price tag you dont get back extra in your pocket.
Thanks so much for comment. i do agree agree with most of the points, and yes the ground clearance could have been a bit better. if you're not going hybrid, then yeah I think the fuel consumption from the NA 1.8L won't be as low as people would like.
only two months affter i bought my 2024 XR Hybrid. Bad timing. Only the automatic tailgate is a feature I will feel cheated on though. Beautiful cars the Cross. Since the first ones.
Almost fell for some great "deal assist" offers from Toyota in December. No mention of the facelift at that time of course. Glad I did not buy one...yawn.
@@ct5274 Poor guess. I looked at the Jaecoo J7 but bought from a Japanese brand 20% owned by Toyota. Seeing you have such good intuition, you can go figure that out.
We need a sunroof and the 9 speaker jbl sound system like they get in the USA

This video is 11:11... "Angel number" 😃... personally, like the changes, like the car 👌🏿
Hey look at that! 😇
Hybrid is brilliant
Fuel Consumption is excellent
It damn sure looks good, especially the one you're driving 🔥👏
I know right! 🔥
I bought my white color 2 weeks ago. XS. Heavy on fuel should of bought the Hybrid model but loving my vehicle ❤
Of the new model ?
Very compelling product 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
what's the incentive to buy the sport version? Old look and seemingly no additional specs?

BS. My insurance was higher on my Renault. You clearly don't like Toyota. You probably drive one of the cheaper Chinese models. Lol
@@ct5274 Only Japanese now. Your Renault was probably higher because of the expensive parts basket Renault has and not risk.
When will we get PHEV's from Toyota in Cross and RAV4?
interior is still meh. No thanks. No different from the 2024
Looks good
I agree!
Salam aleykum
Bu model nə vaxt satışa çıxarılacaq?
Getting a bit pricey now.
What is the fuel tank on the hybrids? Previous version was 36L which is tiny.
It’s still the same

Hey kumbi👋
No volume knob on the new radio ?
No knob, just volume buttons beneath the screen
@@GregDennisReviews Your reviews are very professional. Keep up the good work!
Last model had an annoying growl under heavy acceleration, hopefully it's gone with the new one
😂😂😂😂 They kept the mechanicals the same so it should be there. Also hope they fixed the shocks
Why did they remove the sunroof for the South African version? 🚮
Why does the bloody Philipines get a sun roof. WHY is SA always denied these options! Also no heated seats for Gauteng winters. Thanks, I'll pass
They do?! 😳
I guess it’s quite gutless, otherwise basic commuting transport..
I wouldn’t go as far as gutless… but you’re right it is fulfilling a basic need.
why does the grid look so platicy?
This is very good looking car.
Still no sunroof😭😭does Toyota know that cars in South Africa are not complete without the sunroof especially for us gents👀
Yeah we said the same thing… they must be allergic to them 😂
They leak
@@eileenwatt8283 then they should ask Lexis(not sure of the spelling) help emm😭✋️
@GregDennisReviews bruh😹😹😹imagine this Suv with a Sunroof, have they seen how the Omoda C9 looks with the Sunroof😭
@@eileenwatt8283it's 2025, engineers are quite clever now.

@divergentus You probably driving one of the cheapy Chinese models.
