Bob Ross was a wonderful person, but his paintings were not at all detailed, very quick and generalized, he would paint a completed picture in just an hour or two. His style is what beginner painters use, not at all comparable to this gentlemen's carvings and level of talent

I cannot believe what you pull out of the wood.. mind blowing every time thanks for sharing and great production on the videos, almost like a TV show but better and more natural
Very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. I almost felt like I was meditating for 19 minutes and 15 seconds. The cobra is the undeniably the King of the video but the Queen (Pearl) made my day :)
Your work is absolutely stunning! I can't imagine how much work time it took just get it from wood log to finished carving... The realism of your animals is truly amazing!
Hi Pearl! You are the cutest and such a Daddy’s girl. Hey Mike! Another amazing stick. Love your work and marvel at your talent. Thank you for sharing it with us.
You have one hell of a great talent sir !! I’m crafty myself and I seen someone comment about how long it might of taken and it usually takes me about 4 to 5 days, but I really love your passion to detail. Someone once told me I should sell some of the stuff that I’ve done but the thing is people don’t understand some anyway that when you put all that time and patience and skill into something like that it kind of becomes a part of you that is hard to get rid of LOL
I hear your frustration crafty friend, I too work with various mediums, but when I try selling my paintings, woodcarving, etc, potential buyers say that's too much, so I just shelve it. I took up kindness rock painting and by giving them away, I'm not as attached to them like my other work 😃

My favorite yet. Your patience is out of this world! I miss your walks around the woods. One of my dogs also likes to stay at my feet when I'm carving something... :)
That is just beautiful! Very inspiring! You know I found a stick a lot like that about 35 years ago and started carving a cobra, got about 70% done, and I'm still lugging that thing with me planning on finishing it, in this life hopefully. lol
Mr. Mike I'm always amazed how life like your artwork is. I'm so glad Pearl was able to protect you from that caterpillar. Don't get too hot out there. God bless.

OMG! What a beautiful piece. Ought to be a decorative piece to be displayed than used as a walking stick, So much time spent on making this piece of sculpture. Wow!👍👍👍
What a spectacular job you did on that King Cobra, Mike. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this video. I also loved the look on Pearl's face and in her eyes as she looked up at you from under the falling sawdust. Somebody is going to have a treasure when they buy that stick. It also made me sit up and take note of the beauty with which God designs and decorates His creation -- even the "evil" serpent. Thank you so much for uploading this video. I hope you're enjoying the weekend and I wish you a Happy Labor Day for Monday. I trust you will have a great time with your family. May God bless you throughout the next week until we see you again. Kind regards. Liz.
Thank you very much Liz! I had a lot of fun making this one! It's always a challenge to try a new type of animal. I also appreciate the workmanship which the Lord puts into all of his creatures; yes, even the snakes. I hope you have a great weekend too! And Happy Labor Day to you! God bless you, sister!
I admire your work a lot, you are an excellent example to follow. You are unique, I am very aware of your videos. I wish you much success in your work 🙂
What a real craftsman. I could watch your channel all day. How much would it cost to own a walking stick of such calibre. You talent is something else. Superb. Thank you for giving such pleasure to see your work.
