Unbelievable. Your best work I think, as far as I've seen. Have you thought about making something like a table lamp out of a sculpture this style? It might suit some of your more intricate carvings to give them a different practical use than being taken on walks in the elements.
Thank you very much, Ben! I appreciate your kind compliment! I've been thinking of other things like lamps to make. I think it's a great idea, but I haven't tried to yet. I learned a lot from this project, and I'm excited to do more experimenting with epoxy added to my artwork. It's gotten my imagination going!
@@StinnettSticks well this certainly broadens your horizon! That water effect is stunning. A lamp would be a fantastic idea.... especially a corner lamp in the fashion of your sticks. Honestly if I required I stick I don't think I could bring myself to use one of your sticks as a walking aid... it would be on display in the middle of my living room!
WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I was patiently waiting to see the final result after all the teasers of the sketches etc and have to say, definitely not disappointed in the wait, was so worth it. Can't believe that only took you 3 months, the amount and level of detail is insane, I think it's your best piece to date.

When I see the eye , you have for details, I can't help but think of that verse , God knows the very hairs you have on your head.You bring that verse to life, By showing the details that you see with your own eyes.

This is the first video I've seen of yours and all I've been doing is binging since. You have such a knack for the finer details and just when I think "there's no way this will turn out this good" your videos and work always manage to amaze me. Just being able to carve a wooden stump out of wood and still make it look like wood is amazing to me and that's not even the half of it! I can't wait to watch more of your videos :)

I was going to make a joke and say “Now you’re just showing off!” - But it’s sometimes difficult to see humour in a short comment without tone of voice or facial expression. This is an amazing creation. You constantly impress and delight. The resin was inspired. The whole piece deserves to take pride of place wherever it ends up living. I could easily spend much longer looking at the finished sculpture.

All you need to have and know too carve something like this:
- great rotatory tools and lots of bits. Great knifes too.
- Know how to sharpen knives
- years of practice in carving
- mountains of creativity
- attention to details
- know how wood grain flows.
- Animals structure and anatomy
- color theory, and painting skills.
- know about wood varnishing
- an awesome beard
- a cute dog
- etc... Etc and etc
You are awesome man.
Now that's what I call REAL art!!!!! Very clean and all the way bad ass
