Tia needs maximum support! She is a dog loving and saving legend and Rabid Reality needs more subscribers! Her work with Pitbulls and Parolees deserves a full documentary as she changed many ex-cons lives and the stories need to be heard!

Yea Country Matt and Earl being 2 people I have great respect towards. Matt was an inmate originally when he temporarily joined the team when he got on parole he was like "these dogs need me as much as I need them to keep me from going back" and Earl he has had hiccups but his work ethic is worthy of award winning despite having only 1 fully functional arm he works his ass off and more he started the tradition gifting of leashes to new and dedicated employees. Plus he didn't see tia as a boss but more like a mother figure (he called her mama on multiple occasions in multiple episodes)
The problem was that in later years it was focused solely on her and her kids with Earl and not so much on the parolees

The show got cancelled because Animal Planet was sold to Warner Brothers who axed quite a few programs,but there are repeats of older episodes,hope she gets residuals from them to help fund her rescue work.

It makes me feel closer to my younger brother Patrick passed away from a heart attack in his sleep from a alcohol overdose on August 2nd 2020 he was just 28 years old when he passed away 😢💔
They have their own Facebook page and they are still doing rescues. You just need to do some more research.
That show was one of the most real and authentic shows ever put on television.period. Everything Tia and her family stands for is amazing to say the least. That show should’ve never been canceled.
My friend signposted me to Tia's programme in 2020, I was hooked! This was one of the most fantastic concepts of rescue of the pit bulls, but also Payrolles who turned their lives around like Earl. A wonderful humane lady. So so sorry it's not broadcasting anymore. blessed be to Team Tia always x

Tia and her show was the reason why I advocate and fell in love so hard for pitts. She cared so much for not just the dogs, but for the paroles. She and the rescue deserved so much better. God bless her and the paroles.

My first and only time I've ever had any contact with a pit bull was several years ago in a neighbouring town. I was there to pick up something and walked into the building. Right away this dog came up to me and I started petting it and giving it attention. In another words just loving on it. When it walked away, it was then I realized it was a pit bull.

I loved watching Tia's TV series, and carry on enjoying all reruns. There's nothing to compare to what she's produced for 10 years! She carried on caring for her hundreds of rescued dogs through suffering a broken knee, with the dedicated help of her kids and parolee employees. Other content like the weddings of her children, were extra treats to watch. Thank you to Tia forever, and to all of your family!

I'd like to know why they stopped that show that was one awesome show. They need to put it back on. They leave all the stupid shows on and take all the good shows off. I look forward to watching that I watch Her. I bear you what she does. I also rescue. When I can I? All my animals are rescued from the street so that the show needs.😅
Owned by Disney, and they are not known for making smart decisions lately. The show on AP now are a joke.

Because of that show, I rescued 2Pitts. They’re my favorite breed now.
As a minor dog/ cat rescue lady ( on my own) I wish Tia good luck and many thanks to her for helping Pit bulls be understood and also the people she has helped. Bravo😅❤

Tia should do her own show. There are a few horse rescues that do it here on RUclips.
However, Tia and her family wouldn't be paid guaranteed salaries like they had. But it would help them get more donations.
I liked the show and the family and staff definitely worked hard, but no way any of them could've afforded the lifestyles they have had they not had a TV show that paid them.
Most rescues do well to pay a director and 1-2 staff members any type of salary, let alone 8 family members (kids and their spouses all paid) and parolees. All of whom have decent housing either in New Orleans or outside it in county. (Tia did live in a big camper at the country place, but also owns a home in the city) Two facilities, new jeeps for all, livestock trailers and LOTS of good equipment.
I applaud Tia for her rescue work and am glad for the family that they are able to earn a good living from rescue work. Most do not.
Maybe she doesn’t realize but some RUclips programs are making huge paydays!

In 2019, I rescued a Lab mix black male puppy dumped on a nearby road. I named him Mando in homage to Armando on the show. He is my sweet little Mando man at an estimated 7 years of age now.
Is that Mando in the picture? If it is he's not a lab mix he's a pit bull.
She warned us that Animal Planet was going to Cancel her show on there but that she was going to continue on RUclips. Animal Planet was so lame that the canceled the show. I loved this show so much. Im glad shes on youtube now

@mandyholmberg5106 I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. My brother and I are the only two kids and his health is declining a bit. I can’t imagine how devastating it will be to lose him and so my heart really goes out to you. You said he passed away in 2020. Maybe your heart aches a little bit less, but there has to be a hole there that only he can fill. I will keep you in my prayers for a long time to come!

Tia and her family are amazing people n all paroles that were employed by her .That show was the best miss it when had marathon s hard stop watching always see how a rescue or adoption was ending up.always said she was 😇 on earth was so emotional many many shows . Whatever she is doing now wish her n fam the best so hope they r well 🙏 Thanks Tia For sharing all those years!!

I had a beautiful brindle pittie! After seeing she had a kind,caring loving soul I named her Tia Marie! I really wish they would bring the show back!!
I loved this show, especially since I grew up with Pitt bulls and hated the way people would sneer, mutter, and stare at me when I walked our family dogs. It hurt because they were so gentle and loving but people only saw them as vicious and aggressive. A few months ago our dog Snickers saved me after a dog slipped out of its leash and was running right at me. He jumped in front of me and didn’t even fight back, just moved around me to keep the other dog away while the owner of the dog managed to tackle it and put it back in its collar and leash. Snickers saved me and didn’t even leave a scratch on that dog while he was beet up and bleeding everywhere. He’s okay now but he has a scar on his face from that dog. I love Snickers so much and he is a great dog
I remember when she had her Villalobos Rescue for Pitbulls, etc. was up in the Antelope Valley in LA County back in the 1990's.
It’s Really, Really, Sad that Animal Planet dropped the show. Pit bulls & Parolees has been my Favorite show from the very beginning. I Love Tia & her family. Animal Planet dropped the show when Tia & the Dogs needed there support the Very Most. During COVID-19. I’m Extremely disappointed with Animal Planet. 👎. I hope that the show will be picked up by another network so that Tia & her family can continue to do the Amazing work they do for Animals. God Bless 🙏

Pitbulls were the babysitter breed in the early 1900’sdue their sweet,gentle and protective natures.
It’s people who are the problem.
No breed of dog was ever used to babysit children it's a myth. BAD RAP a pit bull/bully breed rescue revealed the truth about the nanny dog myth after a child of one of their own people was mauled. Plus Darla Napora who helped with the rescue was killed by a pit bull that her and her husband owned. She was pregnant at the time of the fatal attack.
The only problem that are people is the fact that evil men created & selectively bred dogs for violence.

The only reason thos show had to come to a end is cos of the greed of the people running animal planet, huge shame on them. I really really hope they manage to keep the rescue going. She has done so much to help npt just animals but also people and she deserves all the help she will ever need 💖💖💖

So sad. Several years ago I rescued an american staffordshire terrior and she was the sweetest girl. I couldn't keep her so I found her a home in Virginia. She is now a service dog for a woman with POTS. She participates in fast cat and dock diving. I love seeing the photos on facebook.
I miss the show also ,we need more of her or 3 in every state. I heard so many bad things about ,pitbulls until I was working in our high end store at my Casino. This guy walked in all dune up . I waited on him just like anyone else. Told him to have a good day and his friends said, asks him after his courts hearing. He was in my state for his part in pit bull fighting . I got told by one of my coworkers. I believe he was a famous exfootball player. I believe ( could be wrong ) on name Vincent. When I heard what he had done and just watching the show
He burned me ,,I was so mad to hear what he had done and I heard he was introuble in other states for it too. When my husband came home and told us one of his coworkers had and needed to get ready of a dog . Because it was to much for him. . We jumped at the chance ,we said, will take it . Didn't care what it was or breed. She was a half pit bull/ another breed. We went to his house and fell in love with her. We took her and loved her until she passed this passed March in her mothers arms. She was the best dog,every. If I had a chance to do it again ,I for sure would do it. If anyone out there tells you their ,a bad breed . Their not its the person or people who raised them. Ive had German Shepherd every since I was a baby and its another breed people and insurance companies will say bad to have them

Pitbulls & Parolees was my cat’s favourite show but she was terrified of “My cat from hell” because she thought the cats were hissing at her. 😂 The show really opened my mind to people who have been incarcerated

Pitbulls and Parolees was one of my dog's favorite shows as a puppy! He'd hang out on the couch or his bed while the show was on, then get up and go into his crate for a nap, on his own, when he saw the credits roll. He also still likes to watch the re-runs now that he's older. When we did a DNA test, and I found out he's part Pit (80% Doberman but a mix of Pit with a little Staffie for that last 20%), I thought back to the show and was so happy that he was part Pit.
I also learned from this show about Heartworm treatment and the environment that dogs who are Heartworm positive need. This really helped when my family found out a dog we were going to adopt as a friend for my boy was positive. As much as it broke my heart to not adopt her, I knew darn well that the stress of being around such a hyper dog while dealing with the rough treatment required, would have killed the poor thing. She needed a calm environment, not to have to deal with my boy's antics. He wound up with a friend from the same shelter, a sweet older girl who can hold her own when they play, and who definitely needed to get out fast as she'd been in the shelter for a couple of months. I feel horrible about the dog we had to leave behind, and I hope the shelter followed through on their promise to start treating her and find her a foster home where she could recover.

Absolutely respect her, her family, the parolees and all the volunteers. All Tia has done and been thru deserves that. We have so many famous, hugely rich animal lovers out there, you'd think one or more of them would help her for fucks sake! If I ever get rich, I will definitely help. She doesn't flaunt her fame, they dont take lavish vacations, if any vacations, they dont show off their beautiful homes, they dont buy expensive things and flaunt it all over social media...these people are the real deal. This is what a hard working woman is really like. I wish her nothing but happiness and great things.
Our pitbull used to get jealous whenever I watched this show. He would climb up on the sofa and crawl into my lap, demanding all my attention. ❤️

At first, Tia & Co. only rescued pitbulls, but in New Orleans (and in much of the South), the need is so great that they took pittie mixes, then any dog in dire need of help.
Maybe that caused your confusion?
These are shots from the show, but once they moved to New Orleans, they ended up taking in all sorts of other breeds as there wasn't anyplace else where they could go. It's too bad that this video has mostly dogs of other breeds in it. But as Tia mentioned in one of the Pit Bulls and Parolees episodes, they might as well take the other breeds when surrendered or have to go and catch them when their owners just turned them out to let them run.

Animal Planet was bought out by another corporation which then revamped their lineup, getting rid of them.

The short time I lived in NOLA, i found a dog who was left behind by the family when they moved. A local drug addict was doing his best to take care of him. I took him home got him clean. He was so skinny and sick. I went to this place to ask if they could take him. I was treated very rudely by a "bouncer" type who just accused me of wanting to get on tv. I dont like attention and tried to tell him it was for the dog but was not believed. Very sad sinc this dog needed big help I was unable to do for him. I had to leave him behind with a woman willing to take him in but not the nicest person. At least he had a home and food. The bouncer guy had what looked like a hangout spot for friends outside the building, like a outside bar. It was just so unprofessional looking.
Hmmm so Time Warner is the one who made the decision to cancel Pitbulls and Parolees ? If that's true I think the money I was paying to that company because they owned the cable service I paid outrageously high bills to for almost 7 years. I don't use them anymore but I know people who do. Perhaps a new cable service is in order. If they save anything on their new bills I'm positive they would be happy to donate it to Villalobas . Now that I know where I can watch them, I will along with sending them a donation of what I save using a much better connection each month. Thank you Tia and family !
