Oh, Fran! You did such an amazing job coordinating colors #2 and #3 for the participants. And THEN you came up with your OWN focus fabrics for the same pattern and they were striking! I truly appreciate it when you do mock-ups using the kits you put together as an alternative for your viewers. Keep up the great work.

You truly have a gift for creating stunning combinations of fabrics and then placing them in the perfect pattern to invent a totally unique and exciting quilt design! I just loved the results of each fabric matching challenge. I can hardly wait to see what fabrics your subscribers send in next, to test your skills with once again. Thank heavens you show viewers how they too can make something like your latest creations. We too will be able to experience the same joy in making these very special designs for our loved ones and even for ourselves. Fran, I think it would be fun to also see what the quilts look like that you, Donna, and John have chosen to make for yourselves and your family. I think all artists put, at least, a little bit of themselves in each of their creations... so, maybe, we are already seeing your favorites in fabric purchases, kits created, and patterns made. What a talented family you all are!

I,love the way you have provided “pictures” so the fabric choices for the quilt originally shown with the pattern info. I’m hoping that Fabric Cafe will be able to continue doing this make-up pictures with the chosen fabrics for your videos to come. I’ve been around quilting since 1979 but am still fabric-challenged as there are so many beautiful fabrics available nowadays - and the large print fabrics scare me - I just don’t know how to handle them. You have given me a big boost with this video and large-scale fabrics. Thank you all so much. I do take screen shots while watching your videos so I have clues as to what can work. I have all your books and the new one is already in my cart waiting for some fabrics!!!!!

Hawaiian theme The rust fabric reminds me of the Mauna Loa volcano lava on the Big Island as well as the vibrant sunsets on Oahu.

I love the main fabric you chose! l Iove the pattern too!! I would have pick the peach color because the rust is to strong to me. The rust is showing up stronger then the main fabric in the lay out. Its just my opinion of what I would do. But Fran I loveeee the main color and Beth's fabric its perfect for her bedroom. That was a flawless description of her life too. Love ur chanel guys!!!!

I love the tea party quilt choice to highlight Debra's fabric, but the mismatch down the middle is distracting. it can't be alligned at the seam?
Hi Elli, the mismatch is only seen on the digital mockup. In reality it will be a full square cut from the fabric. We were unable to get the sizing correct on the digital version due to the image we had. Hope that helps!
