    900mhz ELRS is also a perfect frequency for model submarines. now we need pwm receivers.

    One notable feature of that BR3 receiver, kind of a big deal, up to 500mW telemetry.

    Not being sold in "the other planet".
    Crossfire only is legal....in the Decomposing Kingdom.

    I hear the 900mhz Bandit BR3 Rx has an issue and needs new firmware installed on it to work correctly? Have you heard anything about this?

    I tested 3w vtx and elrs2.4 and elrs 2.4 still seemed to beat it in range but idk 900mhz still gives me warm and fuzzy on long range. That i lose video but still have control to punch up

    The problem is how to use it legal in EU?? For the normal range the 2.4Ghz systems are enough.

    Emax has the module Aeris @ 900 MHz 2 W power output, also cheaper. What could be the pluses from this Module?

    So it's not possible to make LBT in European 8xx mhtz. Can ELRS do that. Happy New Year. My Bandit is waiting at post office.

      It is. Choose it in ELRS configurator. But you will limit power according to LBT regualations.

    ELRS is bad for the hobby because it actually forces vendors to either jump the ELRS bandwagon or abandon the hobby completely. As soon as you need to run a company and pay your employees ELRS will not pay off. There will always be some shed in China with cheaper hardware as you have. Therefore ELRS will lead to less diversity in the rc link market. FrSky will stay around because they earn their money in the LOS branch of the hobby. FPV is too small. TBS will stay around simply because of Trappy's stubbornness. But there will be no new choice coming. This is bad news . Don't cheap out with ELRS

    • @PocketQuadsOnly
      @PocketQuadsOnly 9 месяцев назад +2

      That's such a bad take. If some shed in china can produce an equally good product as you for a cheaper price, then you're adding no value, and if you go out of business it's really not a loss for the community.
      ELRS actually removes a big barrier to entry for new companies, who will be able to much more easily create new products. And because different companies are using the same standards, their products will be compatible with one another, creating a better experience for consumers, instead of having one or two companies be the only ones in the market and driving up prices.

    • @grumpyoldnerd8727
      @grumpyoldnerd8727 9 месяцев назад

      @@PocketQuadsOnly you forget to take research and development into account which is basically the biggest problem in the fpv community. Just because there are quite a few open source projects out there it does not mean every r&d should be done for free.

    • @ronaldcollins9618
      @ronaldcollins9618 9 месяцев назад

      oooor...those vendors come up with a better rc link than ELRS. I mean TBS was the reigning long range provider for a minute and now not so much.

    • @grumpyoldnerd8727
      @grumpyoldnerd8727 9 месяцев назад

      @@ronaldcollins9618 it still is the overall better rc link. You simply cannot go wrong with Crossfire. I mean, they were 150km out with it 10 years ago on a perfectly legal certified system ( and illegal power output ). ELRS 900 just have achieved these numbers now and will never be legal at all, at least in Europe.
