Small Pomegranate Bonsai Tree, From Seed, 6

Part 6 of my small pomegranate. I grew this tree from seed and have been pretty much pruning non stop since the start. This has kept it really skinny, but quite ramified for a tree of this age. I am going to keep going with this method to see what happens.

Oh I love this little pomegranate. So much personality in a tiny package. That great shoot that grew last year was super weird. Watching it thicken up throughout your time-lapse was fascinating. Wonder what goes on in the mind of a pomegranate bonsai?!? My favourite is always when the tiny leaves emerge. Very pretty sight!

Cheers Sue, yeah it was very weird the way that wanted to grow so much while ignoring the rest of the tree. Who knows what it was thinking, i will have to make sure it doesnt try that again this year!
