@@thenetworklab7276 Great! I've succeed in getting the SS10 to finally boot via terminal - trying to figure out the best way to image the SCSI 1 Fast Drives, without much success yet.

congratulations Geoff! If I was going to image an old SCSI drive that was formatted as a Sun UFS volume, I'd probably get a cheap old Adaptec SCSI card (AHA-15xx for ISA, 27xx for EISA, or 29xx for PCI), throw it in a PC running a boot CD of Linux so that you can mount the UFS volume (e.g. askubuntu.com/questions/85154/mount-ufs-filesystem), and either manually copy the files off to a thumb drive or another disk or use `dd` to duplicate the disk. Good luck!

Nice video on the SPARCStation 10! I have the newer sibling, the SS20, with dual HyperSPARC 90mhz CPU's. It's super fast given its age. Once the SS5 and 20 hit, Sun revised how the cooling works in the pizza box case. Instead of the PSU sucking in hot air as in the SS10, Sun flipped it around and the PSU is what draws in the cold air from outside. I assume the high heat HyperSPARC and SuperSPARC CPU's and Leo framebuffer cards roasted a notable number of PSU's resulting in this design change.
The most 90's thing about the SS10 has to be the onboard ISDN. The future that never materialized stateside due to telco reluctance to sell the service. It took off in Japan and Germany so it was probably a useful feature there.
