Here we continue working on the new Ultra 5, with the first phase of a whole bunch of upgrades and restoration steps to get it running in great shape. In this video, we add some RAM, upgrade the OpenBoot firmware, and install a replacement CD-ROM, as well as review the rest of the restoration steps.

Here I dive into and restore an old Sun Desktop Backup Pack, containing an Archive Viper 2150S QIC-150 tape drive running Sun firmware.

Here we get an old Sun SCSI Desktop Disk Pack setup with the help of some 3D printing for an old disk with an SCA connector, and then we install NeXTSTEP for SPARC on an old Sparcstation 5.
