Sadly, I don't believe that later versions of solaris that were meant to be installed from tape. However, if you wanted to install sunos 4.x.x from tape on an old sun4/sun3 machine, I have an image I could send you
hey thank you for the offer! I was hoping that there was some late/early SPARC version of SunOS/Solaris that they had made tape images for. Sadly I don't have any Sun-3/Sun-4 hw to test it out on but hopefully in the future...
