Was the a cat on your home screen, I would have bet money you were a dog guy. I still just use the old Garmin Montana although I’d love to put my Zumo XT on the bike since the screen is so much bigger. Also not thrilled with the Zumo cradle so it only stays on the BMW. Love how you’re always finding new products to help with our riding. Keep up the great work.
I too was happy with my Quad-Lock and even purchased the wireless charger and vibration damper for it. Now I need to toss that and start again? Maybe. What will be the next better one. But seriously Jeff, thanks for the info, it’s good to know about an option to the Quad-Lock.
Been using quadlock for 10 years now and haven’t had any issues but yeh bad day if it throws your phone down the road. Can’t beat wireless quadlock though.
Best case, no crash but ... in the event of a crash, which breaks first, the phone or aluminum mount. I found comfort in the fact quad lock was plastic and would break first.
Not sure what would fail first but I think it will pop out of the mount in a hard crash. The Quadlock fails WAY too easily. No matter what mount you use the phone needs to have a separate tether as a back up.
Sweet Jesus. I literally just bought 2 quad locks and a phone case two weeks ago after watching your videos. 😂

Been using a ram mount for over a decade. Keep my phones for years before I trade in. Never had a phone die.
Use an old iPhone. Even with the rubber mount, your iPhone’s camera will be eff’d in short order.
