@@Screencappedhats if you say so. But I’m very content having seeing them the amount of times I have with 5 of those shows sitting in the first 3 rows. Oh did I mention that I had the pleasure of having Mick & Jerry Hall sitting in front of me at a play when I was in London and having Mick sign the cover of the Playbill wishing me a happy birthday. I could send you a picture of it if you like.
@@Skolmann bro, If I didn't have front row seats I wouldn't bother going. Are you telling me that out of the 30 shows you've been to you've only had good seats for 5 of them? Don't be a cheapskate man cmon lol
Wish I could have seen them when Mick Taylor was in the band... The Stones best years. Suffered (not really) through 8 shows with Ronnie over the years!
I had to go when I heard Mick Taylor was going to do a tune. I wish he would have played on every song he originally played on, not just Midnight Rambler, which he and Keith made a fantastic live blues opera out of a short little bit off of Let it Bleed.
Taylor was not on the 7 minute Let it Bleed version; his mark can be heard on Ya-Yas (1970) the first on which he appears on the whole album. I actually prefer the Copa version, or the Licks MSG version.
During the 2012-2013 tour, while the band was in Paris rehearsing, Keef went to the UK. His daughter was having a baby. Mick Taylor took Keith's spot during those rehearsals. RELEASE THAT!!!
@@dennycranium That would be fascinating. Taylor and Wood do appear together on several tracks on Ron's first 2 solo albums, tracks that Keith is not playing on.
This was the only tour I missed since 1976 due to the scarcity and price of ticks (only 4 gigs) so I had to follow it on Sky news and the other TVclips ( I taped them all), considering they were off the road from 2007 ( I seen the last 3 gigs of A Bigger Bang Tour O2 in London) these 4 shows were great everyone was so excited to see Mick Taylor back( if only for 2/3 numbers) I thought London 29th was the best show with EC & Jeff Beck guesting and the inclusion of Lady Jane in the setlist, I'll be getting the Blu ray/2CD set but am a little disappointed the bonus songs don't include any of the London any of the London shows especially Champagne and Reefer's . S'pose You Can't Always Get What You Want 🎸🕺🥁🙏😢🔥💯🇮🇪☘️
I was at 2nd show the HBO one on the 15th. Dude stage behind Lisa & Bernard who tossed me a setlist. Hadn’t sat side stage before. Quite nice as I saw things I never see from front. And other than SuoerBowl show this was the start of a PIT something is long time fans had been missing out on. I’ve been Pit 2 (Keith’s side) ever since. Some may complain about setlist when no reason to. Of songs have different arrangements then they are different. And like the bands eras comes there way of playing them too.

If this is the mix you're giving us? Don't bother releasing it.....The Rolling Stones are a GUITAR BAND. Keeping Keith and Ronnie mixed so LOW in the mix does them and we fans an incredible disservice. I suspect it's Mick Jagger having input on this mix, as his vocals are right up front at the expense of Keith, Ronnie and Darryl. The Salt Lake City show from 2005 on a previous Vault release was STELLAR, and it's still on heavy rotation during listening sessions. There is a trend on these vault releases. The Ole Bonus disc has amazing sound quality, where the Cuba show was meh. Don't worry about the warts or any rust in the playing. That's what makes the shows more enjoyable, for me. I don't mind a bum note, here and there. So frustrating. Talk to Bruce Springsteen. He makes EVERY show he plays available to his fans in DSD. 50,000 people see your shows. Release each one, as a digital download for $40.00. I'd buy every FREAKING show. I don't need anymore T-Shirts......
I am 64 years old and I love this band as much as the next classic rock fan, but do we really need yet ANOTHER live concert recording from them? It seems to me that they are already well represented in that department; after all, they have been mostly playing the exact same set-list for over thirty years now! I love the old bands, but pop music is going to die if people won't give new artists a chance.
Yeah I love these guys too I'm 62.. I'm dying for a new studio lp... I have all their studio lps and afew live sets... But I'll pass on this.. there is nothing new on here that we don't have already somewhere
By 1976, the Rolling Stones' popularity was in decline as the charts were dominated by disco and newer bands such as Aerosmith and Kiss. In the UK, the punk rock movement was a rising force and made most artists connected with the 1960s era seem obsolete. The group had also failed to produce a critically acclaimed album since 1972's Exile on Main St. Rebounding from the relative critical disappointment of Black and Blue, Some Girls was a major critical success, with many reviewers calling it a classic return to form for the band and their best album since Exile on Main St. (1972) Lets face it 1973-1977 was a horrible period, for the Rolling Stones same with 1984-1989
