I have seen many videos on models and model building and yours ranks among the best. I can see and almost feel the fabric of the wings, the gross weight of the engine, and read the instrumentation dials. This is very, very good work.
Holy cow! Every time I see a video of a WW1 build this good, it pushes back the date of my first WW1 attempt by about 10 years! My only 'complaint', if you will. :-)
OMG!!!😯😯😯😯 That is so realistic,I feel you could actually crank it up and fly it into combat!!!!!👏👏👏👏 Absolutely incredible work, there's just no words really... Amazing...🤘🤘🤘
Fantastic work! I have this and their FE.2 in the stash and frankly the rigging scares the s**t out of me! Half way through their Rumpler and loving every minute of it.
A SUPERB model of the DH.2 in which Major Lanoe Hawker VC was regrettably killed in action. (But thee is one tiny mistake - the control column is fixed in the central position when it should be posed to port in the direction of the deflected ailerons indicate.)
Thank you! I did all of those with 0.5mm brass pipe (Griffon Model) and proper size copper wire. I will make a tutorial video about it soon, please stay tuned!
Idd DH.2 and Fe2 are quite hard to build. Why don't you try Sopwith Snipe or Se5a? Those are quite easy build and have amazing details. Here's the video ;) ruclips.net/video/Gs_jktONojw/видео.html

The music makes this build even more EPIC ! Insanely fantastic !!
I always loved the Airco. The rigging had to be a nightmare :) Great model and awesome results!

Thank you very much!

I would love to have a wWingnuts Wings kit, not to build, just to gloat over!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Will need an Electron Microscope for the small parts at the beginning and microsurgical instruments to apply.
music?
WOW!!!!
Did you make your own decals for the tail numbers for Lanoe Hawker's DH.2?
Nope, i used the kit's decals. The decal sheet has number 4 and i used 9 as 6 :)
Scale-a-ton
Uh huh, I was going to do the same but figured the 9 wouldn't make a proper 6.
very impressive
A tribute to Lanie Hawker.
That is model making as an art form, amazing :-)
Thank you!
wow
I was thinking of buying one, but 😳. I don't have the skill to do it justice.
