To limit the damage and attacks by the hunters managed by the program, two systems can also be adopted: 1) remove all the furniture from the external walls. The hunters who attack the base throw bombs and Molotov cocktails on the external walls which are damaged, but everything on the opposite side is also damaged; 2) by building the base on the rock in the middle of the lake, hunters are obliged to swim nearer. This way they will be much slower and will have no trees or bushes to shoot from while remaining hidden. Of course it is not valid for the winter season when the lake is frozen, but it is only a short time. ;)
I saw that island in the lake and was very tempted. But what stopped me, honestly, was the slowdown of the swim to get there and back every time I left and returned to my base.
Thanks for the video. I played a test game on Easy with hunters enabled. Easy works for me, as I don't want too many Wolves and Bears - its unrealistic. At the start, the tension is real! You need to get going from the start to find stuff and focus on your first night camp. Died multiple times on the second day because of lack of protein and low vitamins. Cold, Wild Animals are not an issue early game. Food is the key. What I see is that we need to practice constant and vigilant situational awareness. We also need to master time and risk management. And keep working on a strategic plan in this game. Will start again and see if I can do better now that I understand the basics.
Also the thing I have noticed is that you have to have a routine everyday... You have to chop wood, kill for food, get clean water and take care of your planties... If you jump some of these things and more the survival will be super difficult... It is by far a super difficult game to play
Smart folk switch hunters to 'do not attack base' or turn hunters off entirely until you get a decent base up. When you feel you are okay, you can them back on. Its a very good feature. Ignore it at your peril.
Hunters are completely pointless period... They have infinite ammo they have a 2x1 base down and come too your base with molotovs/Grenades.. You kill them and think man they got grenades etc... Let me make 3 or 4 axes and raid their door.... Only too find out they don't have any loot not even a workbench too make said grenades or molotovs not even a refiner they have literally nothing but miraculously have grenades etc..... When u kill them they give u 2 bullets MAYB yet it takes like 5 or 6 body shots too kill them.... You make ZERO profit...
Hahaha exactly 😜 but placing it down to late won't give the NPC's a lot of time to build their bases... What i am trying to say is... You will end up looting from them so the bigger their base is the more loot they will have 😜🤣
Yea they do and also some houses looks similar... But usually there is two or three that stands out a lot, tou should just give them time to build. Don't kill them to much for their loot

Thank you so much 🥳

seems very linear; have to do specific tasks and every player's character looks the same and has the same style of house.

Dude you should try state of decay. Or you already try it 😅
I have finished number 1 already but it wasn't on record lol... I want to play number 1 and 2 again before number 3 comes out 😬
