It's funny I found your video, I've been doing it this way for about 2 months, That last 2 bits you say are a security bit is not, I found the last 4 bits has something to do with the Item you are changing, the first 4 bits is the quantity, for example here is the hex for Coal, C8 00 00 00 9D 01 this gives you the max stack of 200, C8 is 200 and 9D 01 has something to do with Coal only, if you go over the stack size it disappears if you put in the wrong last 4 bits for the item you are trying to change it disappears, I have also found that before changing the stack size to start with 1 that way if it doesn't work you only lose 1, So do what you're doing but find the max stack size for the Item and copy that hex code , then you can max the item faster by just changing to that max hex code, another example I think this ones for fiber I forgot to wright it down E8 03 00 00 2E 04 = 1000, 32 00 00 00 B7 00 = 50 Iron Ingots, C8 00 00 00 2E 01 = 200 Wooden Planks, C8 00 00 00 E9 01 = 200 Obsidian, I have a lot more, Now I have not tested this on another pc so maybe the hex is different if my codes don't work, Thanks for the post.

And yes, I can confirm those hex codes worked for me also for the max stacks. I'm so happy to finally be able to dupe shit in this game. This game's grind fest is totally uncalled for. Been duping for the past few hours, lol. Thank you sooooo much for the video!! It's super confusing but once u get the hang of it, it's great!!

I also have some additional information I'm planning on adding, like formulas to dupe faster, etc.
I also heavily modded the game map to give more power output on solar panels and windmills, more weapon damage, the quad has 1000000 health, the base unit gives way more mass and power output per second, a bunch of little others too, I'm not sure how I could share that file it's 600Mbs

Its a challenge sometimes, you gotta use numbers that you already know work. On every item; the numbers change; and they're also different for every slot. You need to modify them based on only what you know for that one specific item.

The cheat engine table appears to have been taken down, give me a few hours and I'll see if I can find it, otherwise your best option is as the video demonstrates
I skipped it because that is the most basic function of cheat engine. There are literal thousands of tutorials on how to scan for a number in Cheat Engine, and several official guides that are 3 steps long on how to do it. Here's a wiki how that explains in depth: www.wikihow.com/Use-Cheat-Engine
Why cant we just have a spawn item option in the console for singleplayer? I paid for the game, I should be able to cheat in my solo offline worlds if I like.
I absolutely agree that this should be added. It previously was, but the developer said he didn't want players to have access to it, and restricted it to "server admins only", by which he specifically means dedicated server admins
