How you see a Beretta M9 out of that pistol is beyond me.It's more based on a sig p220 the SMG is a fictional design,because for the attachment you said,you need a full auto pistol.And it's a brace not a weapon. In the game the SMG is a whole new upper receiver attached to the lower of the pistol. The shotgun is a remington not a mossberg,but basically same shit different dumpster. The LMG is a left charging right ejecting 249 SAW The sniper rifle is a Tac 50.

Pros: Awesome gunplay with the ability to switch weapon and equipment types whenever you want, damn good graphics and map details, really makes you feel like a freedom fighter, great ost, cool mechanics and missions, the civilian zones drastically change overtime, and has a great FPS. Cons: Protagonist is a mute who's about as well developed as a sentient mannequin, supporting characters weren't all that great (Their one-limers were more memorable than anything else), no real antagonist, bugs are somewhat more common than average and are usually just AI spawning and despawning out of nowhere. Overall worth picking up on a sale I'd say. 7/10 for me

When I played I thought crossbow would be the best gun in this game. but i found this is the worst. Crossbow part is okay but blunderbuss has less damage than normal shotgun. And most epic part is flamethrower It’s the best way making a suicide show in front of our enemy. if we use it. it mostly damage us too

I'm no gunsmith But I do see why some of them would not work I wander if By changing to drum is what makes the Mossberg or Remington into full auto or the Barell because the Barell could work on how it works but if its just the Mag than that's Hollywood logic
@@scarydave7245 in theory, swapping out the barrel could work if it had a gas release system built into the barrel assembly, facilitating the faster fire rate without causing the weapon to generate too much heat. With it being a 590, it at least has a semi auto function, so that would help. The lack of a buffer tube would make this a painful weapon to fire, and may lead to misfires if the bolt carrier doesn't cycle back fully. The loading port would need to be modified before hand in order to support magazines. But yeah, a lot of these weapons are Hollywood'd
One of the few games with this sort of system that models actually sliding lasers\sights onto rails, instead of just plonking them on top and magically sticking!
There are some pistol carbine uppers that include their own self-contained bolt rather than just attach over the existing slide like the RONI. Its possible that such uppers could be converted into an open-bolt smg.
You need a whole new trigger group to turn a semi-auto into a full-auto. Hence why there's cursed as shit images of AR-15s with MAC-10 grips, because (thanks to US firearms laws) it's super cheap (comparatively) to buy an M-10, remove the trigger group, and replace the AR-15s grip with the M-10's, which can cost about 10k-12k versus the possibly 30k you'd need for a full-auto M16/M4.
I know people weren’t too fond of this game but personally I love it, the concept of one gun becoming 2-3 is amazing and very unique, makes it stand out from different FPS’s out at the moment.

Played it 3 or 4 years ago and yeah it definitely had potential, but the story went nowhere imo and some of the bugs/glitches were straight up awful. I still enjoyed it for what it was though, the atmosphere was surprisingly good
This is honestly a concept you can't help but love about Revolution, and fits really well with a resistance that has limited resources, so it makes do with whatever they can scavenge or steal.

You can also attach a supressor on the assault rifle, LMG, battle rifle and a sniper rifle in Resistance mode. Not complaining on the video, just want to inform the players what they can do.
I hate how some of these "cursed" modifications are real things. Like, the Ares AR-15 upper is an actual thing, and very few people actually remember stuff like that. This means that there is a real chance that every single modification, including the sci-fi ones, are doable.

Yeah. Each gun can change to 2-3 different weapons(Except rocket launcher if I remember). The gameplay feels pretty....junky?(from my own experience) but I like the fact you can do weapon customization on the go. You just need to buy weapon attachment and "weapon modes"(I like to called it that) in shops.
This shit was way ahead of call of duty in terms of dope customization and weapon inspections. Plus the wacky gun designs reminds me of the weird skins you can purchase. Almost feels like BOCW or MW weapon animation videos
Ok I gotta admit, the weapon system in this game is cool. Having one grip turn into multiple different weapons via different receivers is a really neat idea. Some don't make too much sense but it's a game and it's cool so Im can't complain.

I love how most of these are just slammed together and part of me wants to get annoyed at the wrong names used but these are really cool and unique so the negatives are beaten. Awesome vid mate

The IN GAME name of the pistol is "M9"... the video gets it wrong from the jump saying that it's BASED on the real M9. Even the sources he listed distinctly say those are the IN GAME names, not what real world weapon they game used for inspiration. You're right though- it is most definitely NOT an M9. It's not a Browning Hi Power either, though... no frame based safety. It has more in common with the SIG 226, although it's lacking a decocker on the frame. 🤷♂️

(I know I'm being pedantic but) the pistol in the game much more closely resembles a Taurus PT-909, which uses a very similar, Beretta style frame, but a much more Sig style slide that we see in-game. However it's very likely that the devs didn't know about some obscure Brazilian pistol so it's not like it's unwarranted to call it a Beretta

Something in my gun loving heart died when I saw a pump action shotgun get the barrel ripped off and a drum magazine slammed into the action to magically become full auto.
The only problem I had with the game was performance, maybe a few mechanical hiccups. But the performance is just the shortcomings of my computer, and the little bugs I encountered were nothing but things to glance at, shrug, and move on from.
Don’t get me wrong, the on-the-fly customization of the weapons is a really cool feature, but the way the character rigs the weapon, analyzes it, and even reloads it makes me feel like he did cocaine before he grabbed his gun. It just seems too fast.
I like how these can be explained by the Resistance having a hell of a gunsmith and fabricator. The dude literally built a gyroscope for a nuke and had it delivered in a few hours.
My favorite thing about home front us that in the middle of a fight you can just swap your weapon stuff. Need to destroy a vehicle? Switch your Assault rifle to a limpet mine launcher.
The story is not bad not good the gameplay i absolutely loved and the world design is amazing but the main problem for me is the unstable af fps (i never experienced dropframe as bad as in this game) and the glitches but with the update it becomes minimal and not that much of a problem so i would sa it's a pretty good game but definitely could have been better btw i am gonna rebuy it in like a week or so so yea :D
Honestly, this was one of my favorite games for sometime just for the fact that you could turn a M4 into a LMG a Pistol into an SMG, and then when you could turn a crossbow into a grenade launcher

I have a suggestion for a possible serie. It may sound a bit psychopathic, but could you compare the gore of a video game to the gore of its sequel? RUclips can still demonetize the video but it would be cool.
Problem isn’t just demonetisation, but it also restricts views by never suggesting it to anyone, even just adults... Its like the video goes to the graveyard to die! Maybe if I think of a way to present it in a way that RUclips doesn’t restrict it from everyone.

Honestly, sometimes, though with picatinny rails, it really is put it in a notch and tighten the screw, for the most part. There are exceptions.

To be more accurate, the lower frame comes from a Berretta m9, and the slide likely is some type of Sig Sauer.

The IN GAME name of the pistol is "M9"... the video gets it wrong from the jump saying that it's BASED on the real M9. Even the sources he listed distinctly say those are the IN GAME names, not what real world weapon they game used for inspiration.
You're right though- it is most definitely NOT an M9. It's not a Browning Hi Power either, though... no frame based safety. It has more in common with the SIG 226, although it's lacking a decocker on the frame. 🤷♂️

(I know I'm being pedantic but) the pistol in the game much more closely resembles a Taurus PT-909, which uses a very similar, Beretta style frame, but a much more Sig style slide that we see in-game.
However it's very likely that the devs didn't know about some obscure Brazilian pistol so it's not like it's unwarranted to call it a Beretta
Game needs a remake.
I just bought this game on Steam recently and enjoyed it ~ I especially liked the weapons and how to tinker with them. Very Cool concept.
The pistol is NOT based on a Beretta M9. I don't know where you see that similarity. It has NO features of an M9. It looks more like a P226 to me.

Something in my gun loving heart died when I saw a pump action shotgun get the barrel ripped off and a drum magazine slammed into the action to magically become full auto.
More games should have this sort of on-the-fly gun customization.

The only problem I had with the game was performance, maybe a few mechanical hiccups.
But the performance is just the shortcomings of my computer, and the little bugs I encountered were nothing but things to glance at, shrug, and move on from.
Don’t get me wrong, the on-the-fly customization of the weapons is a really cool feature, but the way the character rigs the weapon, analyzes it, and even reloads it makes me feel like he did cocaine before he grabbed his gun. It just seems too fast.
I'm pretty sure some military actually used or uses cocaine

My favorite thing about home front us that in the middle of a fight you can just swap your weapon stuff. Need to destroy a vehicle? Switch your Assault rifle to a limpet mine launcher.

The system is awesome, the characters are shit though
The story is not bad not good the gameplay i absolutely loved and the world design is amazing but the main problem for me is the unstable af fps (i never experienced dropframe as bad as in this game) and the glitches but with the update it becomes minimal and not that much of a problem so i would sa it's a pretty good game but definitely could have been better btw i am gonna rebuy it in like a week or so so yea :D

Honestly, this was one of my favorite games for sometime just for the fact that you could turn a M4 into a LMG a Pistol into an SMG, and then when you could turn a crossbow into a grenade launcher

I have a suggestion for a possible serie. It may sound a bit psychopathic, but could you compare the gore of a video game to the gore of its sequel? RUclips can still demonetize the video but it would be cool.
Problem isn’t just demonetisation, but it also restricts views by never suggesting it to anyone, even just adults... Its like the video goes to the graveyard to die! Maybe if I think of a way to present it in a way that RUclips doesn’t restrict it from everyone.
