I have the exact one for decades. Just a solid, powerful accurate revolver. It lives in a Eagle Industries Cordura nylon holster. I also have a Hogue grips to replace the cocobolo grips.
I just came back from the range comparing my new 2020 colt python 4" barrel with my smith and wesson model 586-8 4" barrel both shot the same as far as accuracy. But I thought the 586-8 felt more comfortable because of the shape of the trigger. I think with the python you have to use the pad of your finger as oppose to the smith you use the crease of your finger to pull the trigger

Have 2 smiths .....357 & 44 mag. The only thing i don't like is that super heavy loads aren't recommended for any smiths.
