When I think of the grace God has shown us, the eternal life we will be given, and the wrath we have been saved from, the beauty of God increases in my heart! Those thoughts help me overcome stress and feeling miserable at work. I literally become joyful in that moment and it causes me to live selflessly and with a sense of love in my heart. It's the Holy Spirit living through me. Praise God!!

Thank you for posting this series of interviews with Todd. I have had the privilege of hanging out with Todd 3 or 4 times. A few years ago we had lunch at Cheesecake Factory. I was going through a difficult time, and Todd ministered to me in the most powerful, sincere, biblical way. He then prayed for our waiter's hand to be healed, and shared the Gospel with him. It was an amazing experience. About a year later I was able to see Todd with my dad, who had a bad injury in his rotator cuff. Todd prayed over a group of people in the room, and my dad's shoulder loudly popped right next to me, and all pain was entirely gone. He has been a generous and active supporter of Embrace Grace, the ministry that I am associated with. Todd is the reason why I chose to pursue vocational ministry. I recently graduated with a degree in theology, and even with an increased knowledge of the Word and sound doctrine, I believe Todd White is one of the most godly leaders of today. Those that continue to choose to criticize, antagonize, and diminish Todd's ministry are doing a massive disservice to the Bride. Since Todd has been in the spotlight of Christendom, he has grown in the knowledge of the Word tremendously. He has also repented for the few things he has said that have been outside the bounds of orthodoxy. To the haters, it's time to stop.

Amen! So good! It’s so easy to speak of someone negatively if you have just seen a soundbite here and there...and are trying to prove a “point” to meet your agenda. Please people - stop this manhunt in the name of “correct words and perfect theology” Jess, you have witnessed his Spirit and can testify to his love for God and preaching the Gospel. I pray more people will shut it with the negativity unless they have actually spend time with the person in real life. And that goes to a lot of other brothers and sisters of christ too. It breaks my heart when I see such an ugly spirit on believers to break God’s children down.

That’s great that he has had an influence on you and your ministry. I say this out of concern. Todd saying Kenneth Copeland has a rock solid ministry, that he’s been like a spiritual father and continually teaching that the Bible doesn’t say that God is in control. Does that no concern you? I use to listen to Todd white all the time and be drawn into the healings and teaching that sounded good but I realized so many red flags in his teachings and people he has associated with. At the very least he should not be teaching and should learn from solid teachers who don’t have a terrible track record. I’m not saying any of this to attack and say you haven’t had a genuine experience with Todd.

I got to say that I love learning about the bible, apologetics, in depth study of the Bible and all. I got to say that.. and with all due respect. MOST people commenting in this post have done squad about the gospel and getting ONE single soul into heaven. I seen comments about emotions, about the spirit cannot do this, this is not right and all kinds of comments. And hey.. I hear you. You know that there were THOSE in the Bible with NOTHING but love and a message of salvation? Read Luke 9:49 and then read JESUS.. thats right.. THE JESUS.. answering HIS "saint/separate/anointed/holy" disciples.. Common.. read Luke 9:50.. and tell me what does GOD, by the very lips of Jesus said? I though so. I have been to countless mission trips, worked in some sketchy areas and seen all kinds of "saints" doing work in the field and you know who are usually the BEST at reaching hearts and people into the kingdom.. I can tell you is NOT scholars (which I LOVE by the way). Is people with ONE SINGLE FOCUS.. they experience Jesus and just cannot stop talking about him. They have little to no clue about theology, they do not know if speaking in tongs is a thing, or Calvin, or Luther, or Baptist or Methodist or nothing.. They know that Jesus worked in their hearts and they need to tell others. THAT's IT!! So, to be honest I do not care about whether this guys know his theology or how good he preaches.. Let me tell you.. the day we walk into heaven.. I can assure you that HIS fruits (people he brought to God) is going to be insanely more than a good 99% of the keyboard warriors tearing their robes at his testimony. You want to learn something today.. God and look at the church in Iran, and in China and in Yemen and those little forgotten places of the earth.. see if theology is what is getting lives change over there or a properly done sermon. How easy is to be a Christian and a keyboard warrior in the USA, while sitting here and talking about other's testimony.. I wonder how good your Christianity would be in a place where walking the walk is LITERALLY the difference between life and death.
My two cents to ANYBODY dissing on the testimony of another Christian. You saying "that is not how God works" or "This is not correct God cannot use this person"..hummm.. it tells me you know squad about God. you are just another Pharisee claiming God does not work with gentiles and impure people. Which tells me.. you have NOT read 1 Corinthians 1. I rather be a fool and an ignorant (not that I am) and be used by God, than a a great theologian and keyboard warrior who has brought NOT a single person to God's Kingdom.

So I think what you're trying to say is that God can use anyone. And He can. But there is nothing wrong with being discerning about what someone is saying, even their testimony. Look up a guy named Mike Warnke. He had quite the testimony and it turned out to be a complete fabrication...a bunch of lies. No, we shouldn't actively tear anyone down just because we don't agree with their theology, but discernment is right.

I always think “don’t read the comments, you’ll regret it”.... and then I read the comments. So many Christians are up in arms about censorship on social media, but then turn around and attack people they barely know in comment threads.
Pretty disappointing comment section, I’m not sure everyone who commented negatively actually listened to everything. “Our goal is really just to discover what Todd believes.” They also said they will not “endorse” or “defend” him. Todd also directly refutes in this very interview some of the accusations made against him in these comments (like the divinity of Jesus issue).
I do not agree that the RR guys are holding his hand through this, but trying to give him language to explain his beliefs in a way their audience can understand. He doesn’t come from a background where that kind of language is commonplace. That doesn’t mean I agree with him on everything, or that I believe he should have had such a huge platform so early in his faith journey, or that I don’t think he has growing to do (especially in balancing story/emotion with clear explanations of truth), BUT that he appears to believe fundamental doctrine and stretches me to think differently (with discernment). Please don’t attack me for trying to see many sides of this :)

I first heard of Todd White when I watched both of the American Gospel documentaries. I had mixed feelings about it. I went online and looked at some of Todd’s content. What I saw on his channel was not what was in the documentary. That rather showcased him as - basically doing fake healings, his personal mansion and who he associates and shares a platform with. It felt gross and slanderous. Even Francis Chan got heat from Christian’s for being associated with Todd. Then I saw Todd’s sermon to his stunned congregation after he had time to reflect. I burst out laughing when he said (paraphrasing) “I’ve been reading these writings from Charles Spurgeon. He’s amazing.” What I witnessed was a man who is incredibly humble and full of love for humanity. We all have to remember that the Lord uses imperfect ppl to do His work. That American Gospel film run by cessationalist was on a bit of a warpath. They are probably the reason Todd is being persecuted with protesters outside of his church. I’m glad you guys did these helpful interviews. I hope it clears some big misunderstandings ppl have had towards him.

    All hope is lost. 😔
Absolutely none of Todd’s false teachings were cleared up in any of these three sad videos. I saw one good thing in this whole series. Remnant Radio taught Todd that Jesus willingly chose not to exercise His divine privilege during His earthly ministry. I hope that Todd remembers what he learned.
Todd should not be a pastor or a teacher. That is one of the most basic pieces of the Gospel puzzle and the fact that he just learned that is alarming.
Remnant Radio asked Todd a couple of questions we wanted to know and then one of two things happened: 1. Todd told us a lot of long, unrelated, personal stories to distract us and we never got an answer, or 2. After Todd’s story finished, Remnant Radio answered the question for Todd by saying, “So what you mean is...” and Todd was amazed because he learned something new.
Todd says that the people who are concerned with his (and his mentors’) doctrines and theology have dry religion without relationship and intimacy with God. He also says that we don’t know him and just judge him by sound bites. Could this be the pot calling the kettle black? Todd doesn’t know us or our relationship with Jesus. He only knows what he hears from others or reads in a comment section online.
Remnant Radio, I understand that you got star struck or caught up by someone who may have extensive experience manipulating people (see NPD) but please don’t sweep this under the rug and please don’t let this series be an indicator of future direction for your ministry. I truly care for you brothers and pray that your discernment and your courage to do the right thing increase despite the fear of backlash. 💛

I pray that you will come to see that despite all of these things, all hope is not lost :) Your points are all very astute observations and I hope that many (especially in my younger generation that is being corrupted by false gospels) will begin to see that undisciplined voices like Todd can be very harmful in what they permit to be taught. Even if Todd's heart is in the right place (which I think it most likely is) him leaning so heavily on pastors that support an almost super-power-esque view of divine healing seems very dangerous. I do agree with your sentiment that in this instance Remnant Radio does seem to have gotten a little star struck. It is a scary thing sailing the high seas of theology where you never know who might be trying to manipulate you. I am praying for both Remnant Radio and Todd, that they may let the Gospel truth guide them. Their exchange concerning the divinity of Jesus and Todd's language about "laying aside his divinity" being further polished by the RR guys really gives me hope that Todd (despite whatever personality disorders may plague him) is willing to learn and evolve. The debate for me really comes when discussing whether or not Todd should be teaching/leading a ministry when his view of the Christology seems to be still evolving.
Just a quick question (it seems from your other comments that we think a lot alike), do you have any recommended channels/videos that discuss what the Gospel actually says regarding healing? A bastardization of this topic seems to be an aspect present in most of the more dangerous interpretations of the gospel. I'd love to hear more about this subject.

    Hi guys.
Thanks so much for facilitating this. I’ve listened to all three parts in their entirety and hope that this brief comment might be of some help:
    1) No doubt that capturing Todd’s personal testimony at length is powerful and helpful for all who call themselves Christian, who long for truth. I’m grateful for the space and time given to this and am left stirred/longing for more of God.
    2) However, the pivotal issue for me (and, I’m sure many, many others) is around the brief focus on Philippians 2. This was manifestly unclear to me from the short amount of time given to it in this video...and I say that as someone who was very much longing to hear clarity. I’m disappointed that you guys didn’t press Todd on this. My fear is that this has done more harm than good by compounding the very common error that “adopting the right posture of humility” looks like agreeing to disagree or settling for ambiguity. We desperately need more awkward moments of holding our brother’s toes over the Fire.
    3) It was also very obvious when Todd was speaking from personal conviction/experience and hand-me-downs from Bethel. Todd may find BJ beautiful and integrous but that’s utterly beside the point.
    Love
    Nick

Why do we feel the need to keep putting our brothers on trail instead of being their for them while they are seeking the path. If we Learn anything from Todd/Dan and Gods Testimony through them is that they themselves are not the goal, but in search for the prize the same as all who are seeking relationship with our Father. The Bible says not to be concerned with the speck in our brothers eye but to, (with relationship with him) deal with the beam in our own eye and then we can see clearly to "help"(not condemn or demand clarification) our brother with his issues. "They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them" If you are going to hold your brothers toes to the fire you better be ready to be standing in it with them because that is what Jesus did and that is what he has called us to do.

@@MrStreet1986 Do you realise that the Matthew 7 “speck quote” is one of the most commonly out-of-context come-backs for any brother or sister calling another to a higher standard of faithfulness? It’s wearisome.
If you honestly think that the Philippians 2 issue of whether or not Jesus was God when He performed miracles on Earth is a small thing (something just to ‘let come out in the wash’) you’re fundamentally misunderstanding the responsibility of senior leadership and the importance of (teaching) doctrine within all of our discipleship - is there anything more important than what we’re teaching about Jesus?
You might say, “yes, having Christian unity”, of course. But, bro, we’re not called to agree to disagree about things like this. This is an error in and of itself...and it has ruined the Church.
You also conveniently ignore my first point as though it’s impossible for me not to have been genuinely blessed/encouraged by Todd - for him to be my brother - while remaining concerned about what he teaches to the masses. Again, very wearisome.
Do we not all need our toes held over this gracious Fire at times? But do not teachers of the Bible especially? Again, context is king; we’re not talking about a new convert learning the basics...this is regarding the impact on the global Body of Christ of senior leaders whose teaching is, at the very least, questionable.
I’m not your enemy, nor Todd’s, but, mark my words, this response to my comment is representative of one of the biggest hurdles unto faithfulness in the Church. And He is graciously shaking us free from it.

Talking about Jesus laying aside his divinity, as i look at the Scripture, he never changes anything about who he is, or his divinity, he didn't lay anything aside, he just did what he's always done in his positional role in the Trinity, he submitted himself, surrendered every thought, word and deed to the will of the Father. It's so clear to me that he was the action figure in his role. The Scripture says he was the one who actually created creation, following the Father's instructions, when he came to us in his humanity, he never deviated from that, he submitted in all things even to the cross. There isn't any fancy footwork involved, it is his nature to obey the Father absolutely. What the Father gave him to do, say, even think, he stayed connected to the Father's will. That's how he never sinned. He's never sinned because he stayed with the Father in every microsecond of his life, he gave himself completely to what the father had for him!

But they're cessationists. That's very hard to take. In addition, they are very quick to label other pastors and churches and "false" or as having wrong doctrine. These things are hard to deal with at times. I wrestle with these things. I firmly believe that the word of God should be the centrality of the service.

I do take care to show them that Jesus is not unhitched from the OT and keep an orthodoxy view whereby He is God. • @-altmoon-8975
      @-altmoon-8975 3 года назад

The Insufferable Tool - Hi, I think I'm a bit of a Calvinist, definitely NOT a cessationist. I see God as the Author of reality, so the story of the universe is written by Him. I'm a writer too. I love my characters; awful things happen to my characters sometimes. I write the awful things happening, but I don't like the awful stuff I write. I don't do it to hurt them, I do it because they will end up in a much better place at the end of the story. They grow and change, and get to be a part of a good story.
Sometimes my characters do bad, evil things. I write them doing those things because that is what they would have done in that situation. I can't make my characters act out of character (I could, but it would be wrong). Am I evil or manipulative to my characters? Are they unable to make their one decisions? No, they make their own decisions and I write the decisions they make. If I decide not to write a story, they would not make decisions at all.
I can even imagine what would happen if I made them make an uncharacteristic decision, but they would not do that so that is not what happens in the cannon of the story.
As far as in reality, I struggle a bit with knowing that in the future I will commit sin and I can't be perfect, and despite not being a slave to sin I am still weak and I feel helpless. It hurts, it makes me want to cry. But I cry to my Lord about these distressing thoughts, and He calms my mind and soothes my soul. And He tells me, "That is what is what forgiveness is for." And He reminds me that I was helpless before Him, but now I am empowered through reliance on Him so I don't need to feel helpless anymore.
Also I think limited atonement is not objectionable at all because God is the Author and he already knew what decisions all His characters would make, so when He died for us He died to save the ones he knew would choose Him. I hold the beginning and ending of my own stories in mind, so I can foreshadow and set up events so they will fall into place at the right time. So too with limited atonement. God knows exactly who He made who will choose Him, and those are who He died to save. None will choose Him who He did not die for because Christ died for those who had, have, and will choose Him.
Stories have bad guys. Am I immoral for writing enemies for my characters? Am I immoral for writing consequences into my stories for those whose actions deserve it? Maybe I never should have wrote a story in the first place. I ask God about this sometimes. But apparently He thought writing this story was worth it. I don't understand the thoughts of God on this topic, but God is good so His decision to write this story must also be good. I am confused it, but I do not find it a stumbling block.

There are many calvinists who are continuationists, and charismatics. I think you'll be hard pressed to find any calvinist propserity/word/faith pastors, teachers, etc. though there probably are some, very very few.
The difficulty is probably as The Insufferable Tool said: reformed theology, or more specifically calvinism, is often seen as the "other end" from charismatics. But as mentioned already, there are calvinists who are charismatics (Sam Storms, John Piper, and Wayne Grudem to name a few). Your pastor sounds very, very fundamentalist. "We're right and they're wrong period end of discussion.". You could ask your pastor about the gifts. If he says, "We calvinists don't believe that", you could name the few calvinists here and ask what about them. If he's insistent (he probably will be, if my assumption is correct), you'll just have to keep learning this on your own, or else find a new church.
Listen to The Remnant Radios videos over the gifts, they're phenomenal, lots of great teaching. Don't think that just because he's a pastor, that your leader is correct in everything. If it drives you bonkers enough, and you can't find peace, I'd suggest finding a new church or if you can't, just keep praying for peace amidst the storms.

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

As for Bill teaching that Jesus was born again the only think I can see him meaning is that Christ needed to be raised from the dead similar to us dying to the old with Christ and being risen in newness of life with Christ ie. Born again.

What happened to the Holy Spirit giving the gifts to whom He wills, as He desires and not to others? What happened to the sovereign will of God to heal whom He will and not some others?
Why did you not ask him about this huge issue? These ministry training schools are an enormous issue with the NAR and WoF movements. People chasing super powers, narcissists looking for a following, unsuspecting believers who don’t know better... they go to these schools and are deceived by false doctrine and bad theology which produces false converts. A healing school. They are teaching and equipping believers about Gods will for healing. Healing is in the atonement Isaiah 53 and IT CANNOT be spiritual healing because if you argue that point, then you are disagreeing with the book of Matthew which quotes Isaiah 53 and applies it in a literal sense. Just because it doesn't fit your deterministic view of healing doesn't make it evil or heretical. God paid for healing in the atonement, just because you might not experience it doesn't mean it isn't true.
Not everything that happens is what God wants. God doesn't want people to perish, he wants all to come to repentance, but not everyone wants to repent.
The people that Jesus healed? Was God making them sick or were they oppressed by the devil? Acts 10:38 says Jesus healed all who were oppressed by the Devil. This isn't an essential issue, while I think it is important, I'm not going to condem anyone because they have a different perspective on healing.

Power and love school (for example) was to make disciples really. Jesus told his disciples to make disciples of all nations. He didn't mean for those twelve men only to do it all. They made disciples who were to make disciples and on and on. The healing they teach in the power and love school was to prepare them then send/take them out to share Jesus and heal the sick, as Jesus did with His disciples.
Healing is for all of us, not just for those with a "gift of healing" for whom it is their special ministry to the body. Just as faith is for all of us - not just those with a "gift of faith".
Sure it is not good that some people could be making schools from wrong motives, but let's rejoice like Paul in this: at least the gospel is being preached to unbelievers, as many especially among the younger generation have been brought up materialist atheists living without hope in the world
      - who have not even heard that they have a creator who actually cares about them personally and a Saviour who died for them.

Could you ever imagine Jesus praying for someone and them not getting healed? No because it never happened. Gods will is always to heal, that’s why he took stripes on his back because that’s how serious healing was to him. He already paid for it so it’s available. But you must receive it by faith. If you waver in unbelief you won’t receive it. Same with if you pray for someone and they are not healed it’s because of unbelief and doubt.
Which is ok everyone has prayed for someone and the person didn’t get healed. But we must overcome unbelief and doubt. Jesus tells the disciples that it’s overcome by prayer. Jesus rebuked his disciples and called them a wicked and perverse generation because of their unbelief. He then told them it gets dealt with by praying. By that he meant communing with God.
So I’ve prayed for people to be healed and sometimes they don’t. I’ve also prayed and they did. For example a guys back. Todd white prayed for about 1000 people before he saw the first one healed. Most people though it’s within the first 25. It all just depends on you having good doctrine. Because the first step to operating in healing requires blind faith on the word. And if you don’t have good doctrine you won’t be able to have blind faith. Being double minded will keep you from seeing healings.
If you believe Gods will isn’t always to heal for example how can you ever have faith that God wants to heal the person your praying for? You can’t. That’s called being double minded, on one hand you are praying and on the other you are doubting. Thinking what if this isn’t Gods will. What if this what if that. Single minded is only one thought. Healing requires faith. Prayer without faith isn’t prayer.
The Hebrews and Greeks have a different way of seeing. Greeks say I believe but don’t live out or act on what they “believe”. Hebrews say if you aren’t living and acting it out then you don’t believe it. We shouldn’t be Greek minded.

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
      ‭‭James‬ ‭1:6-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The Bible tells us right here if we are doubting we shouldn’t expect to see our prayer answered. That’s with any kind of prayer not just healing.

““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
      ‭‭John‬ ‭14:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus says whoever believes in him these works and greater you will do. What keeps people from doing these works and greater? Unbelief.
“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.””
      ‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus tells us if you believe then these things will follow you. Not you chasing after them. They should be following you. He also says you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. He doesn’t say they might recover, or sometimes they will recover. They shall recover.
All miracles happen through faith. God looks to partner with mankind, God doesn’t do anything without using a vessel to do it. Moses was a vessel, Elijah was one. Jesus was one, Paul was one, Paul told us that if we have the Holy Spirit we are a vessel.
No miracles happen except through faith, healings don’t happen, except through faith. Either the person prayings faith, or the person receivings faith or both. Sometimes you can pray for someone and their faith gets them healed and not yours. This happens often in 3rd world countries. Because they aren’t taught so much unbelief like Americans. So when missionaries go to heal their sick. The sick are already waiting for people to pray for them cause they believe they will be healed. And because they believe they are healed.
This is how believing works. That’s why people can go to a Christian conference and believe if they pray for me I’ll be healed. They go and get healed because they believed. Their contact point of faith was someone praying for them. We only have faith for certain things but we can always build our faith and expand it into more things. You can only do what you have the faith for. But faith can always be increased. However our problem mostly lies with unbelief. For if we had no unbelief than healings would happen 100% of the time. Jesus had no unbelief.

They had no cameras in those days so they made statues of people who were important. A statue of her is also holy. Do you not love your own mother? Do you think Jesus would mind if you loved his mother and honoured her? Of course he wouldn’t, he has nothing but love for his mother and her for him. Christ was inside her for 9 months? Inside her, actually inside her. Can you imagine the level of love and purity that wold bring, she also raised him, and knelt at the cross as he died. Darkness can not even be in her presence. She is not God and she is not worshipped but she is the mother of Christ and can heal.

The point was if Jesus told him to get out of his wheelchair like Todd did, would he be healed or would the man still be in the wheel chair?
Todd was saying "If I'm praying for someone and they don't get healed..." And then he said but what if Jesus was in the room?
Sure Jesus definitely go to every single sick person in every public area he visited (even though there were times He healed all who came to him until late in the evening). Firstly, he was just in a single body with limits on his time etc. He sent out his disciples to preach the good news and heal the sick throughout Israel. And He said we (the disciples and their disciples and so on) will do greater things (more) because He was going to the Father (and sending His Spirit to indwell His body of many believers). His plan was not to do all preaching and healing Himself (in His human body)- that's why he made disciples, sent them first to Israel and then told them to make disciples of all nations. We all work together to do it.
Secondly, if you read John 5 you will see that having gone to Jerusalem for the festival it was the Sabbath when he healed the man. When the religious leaders asked the man about who healed him etc they couldn't find Jesus because he had slipped away after healing the man. So you can see he had good reason for only healing that one man at that time. It's not that God was not willing to heal the others.
After all, it says God sent an angel to stir the waters there so whoever went in the pool could be healed.
The man Jesus healed couldn't get in the pool on time, but not because God didn't want him healed even if he started to think so, praise God He was healed directly by Jesus!

Where does any believer in scripture have a testimony of Jesus baptizing them with intense heat throughout their body and sweating profusely and their nose running and hanging on to a chair? I’m just asking for clarification. This is not how I’ve experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was immediately made aware of the righteousness of God and of my sin against God when I was born again. So I’m very confused by this baptism he speaks of. It doesn’t go along with scripture. Truth and judgment is what Christ baptized with. He preached repent and believe.

Jesus did NOT "lay aside divinity." the Apostles, Church fathers, and the Councils have taught that Jesus is eternally divine.
    (1) The Apostles:
"For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily" (Colossians 2:9)
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, (Hebrews 1:3)
    (2) The Church Fathers:
“For the Lord knows them that are his. And as many as our led by the Spirit of God, our sons of God. But they are sons by Grace, not by nature. For there is but one Son of God by nature. Who in his compassion became son of Man for our sakes. That we, by nature, sons of men might by grace become through Christ sons of God. For Christ, abiding unchangeable took upon himself our nature, that thereby he might take us to himself. And holding fast his own divinity he became partaker of our infirmity. That we being changed into some better thing might be participating in his righteousness and immortality. That we lose our properties of sin and mortality and preserve whatever good quality he had implanted in our nature. Perfected now by sharing in the goodness of his nature. For as by the sin of one man we have fallen into a misery so deplorable. So, by the righteousness of one man, who also is God, shall we come to a blessedness inconceivably exalted.”
    Augustine
    -The City of God-
"Now may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the eternal high priest himself, the Son of God Jesus Christ, build you up in faith and truth...and to us with you, and to all those under heaven who will yet believe in our Lord and God Jesus Christ and in his Father who raised him from the dead."
    Polycarp
-His letter to the Philippians 12:2-
"Wait expectantly for the one who is above time: the Eternal, the Invisible, who for our sake became visible; the Intangible, the Unsuffering, who for our sake suffered, who for our sake endured in every way."
    Ignatius
-Letter to Polycarp, 3.2. Holmes, AF, 265-
Permit me first to recount the prophecies, which I wish to do in order to prove that Christ is called both God and Lord of hosts.
    Justin Martyr
-Dialogue with Trypho, 36. ANF, I:212-
    (3) The Councils:
    Nicene Creed 325
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth, of things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the begotten of God the Father, the Only-begotten, that is of the essence of the Father.
God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten and not made; of the very same nature of the Father, by Whom all things came into being, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.
Who for us humanity and for our salvation came down from heaven, was incarnate, was made human, was born perfectly of the holy virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit.
By whom He took body, soul, and mind, and everything that is in man, truly and not in semblance.
He suffered, was crucified, was buried, rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven with the same body, [and] sat at the right hand of the Father.
He is to come with the same body and with the glory of the Father, to judge the living and the dead; of His kingdom there is no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, in the uncreated and the perfect; Who spoke through the Law, prophets, and Gospels; Who came down upon the Jordan, preached through the apostles, and lived in the saints.
We believe also in only One, Universal, Apostolic, and [Holy] Church; in one baptism in repentance, for the remission, and forgiveness of sins; and in the resurrection of the dead, in the everlasting judgement of souls and bodies, and the Kingdom of Heaven and in the everlasting life.
    Chalcedonian Creed 451
Following, then, the holy Fathers, we all unanimously teach that our Lord Jesus Christ is to us One and the same Son, the Self-same Perfect in Godhead, the Self-same Perfect in Manhood; truly God and truly Man; the Self-same of a rational soul and body; co-essential with the Father according to the Godhead, the Self-same co-essential with us according to the Manhood; like us in all things, sin apart; before the ages begotten of the Father as to the Godhead, but in the last days, the Self-same, for us and for our salvation (born) of Mary the Virgin Theotokos as to the Manhood; One and the Same Christ, Son, Lord, Only-begotten; acknowledged in Two Natures unconfusedly, unchangeably, indivisibly, inseparably; the difference of the Natures being in no way removed because of the Union, but rather the properties of each Nature being preserved, and (both) concurring into One Person and One Hypostasis; not as though He were parted or divided into Two Persons, but One and the Self-same Son and Only-begotten God, Word, Lord, Jesus Christ; even as from the beginning the prophets have taught concerning Him, and as the Lord Jesus Christ Himself hath taught us, and as the Symbol of the Fathers hath handed down to us.

@@salgar1234 he DOES study Gods word, and spends more hours studying every day than you or I most likely. Let me ask you….Acts 2….did Peter preach the very first sermon of the New Testament church from notes he took? Was it a three point sermon? Or was he preaching the truth from his own personal relationship with Jesus and from his understanding of fulfilled prophecy now that Jesus has died and risen? Be careful to not hold Todd to a standard that has been created by men, instituted by tradition of men. Todd preaches the word from His heart. If you listen to what he preaches, it’s actually more scripture than most preachers who cite scripture during their message. The word of God flows from His heart so freely because he spends so much time IN the word. The word is becoming flesh through his life with Christ being lived out. Paul said the gospel is not word only, but power….meaning not just miracles and signs, but that his faith is brought to fullness tbrough the active expression of the word made manifest through how he lives. That’s what Todd does.
Two Easter’s ago I was at a church in PA, and Todd was preaching. He had his whole family there including a new baby that they adopted who was a heroin addicted baby. They’ve adopted a few children I believe. And on Easter, Todd finished preaching and he was the last person to leave. He stayed and prayed one on one with every single person. Crying tears with people and encouraging people in the faith - praying for as many that wanted prayer. Prayed for me and my mother - prayed for everyone. Last to leave. And his own family was there, and he spent so much time one on one. So either you believe that he’s completely demonized going to great lengths to pray for every single person (150+) in order to somehow put a demonic curse on each person who is seeking more of Jesus, or maybe he’s the real deal? It’s one or the other. And if he’s some kind of warlock doing spells, then that doesn’t explain all the people I know personally who have been healed and set free and live more for Jesus now than ever before. I can give you names. And if you say it’s all demonic then in that case, you are actually giving the devil more glory than God and then it sounds like the God you serve is not very powerful he’s just letting the devil run around healing people and testifying of a powerful and intense love for Jesus everywhere he goes, and then the devil is continuously bringing God glory thorough Todd’s life. So I guess actually, by this logic, whether Todd is the real deal or operating in witchcraft and new age, he’s bringing glory to God no matter what because the fruit that is coming from Todd’s tree is reproducing and bringing consistently more good testimony to the glory of God.
And in regards to the leg Lengthening, I’m not sure what your issue is? Yes it’s weird. But so is spitting in the dirt and rubbing it on a man’s eye. I personally have ministered to folks with uneven legs and I don’t even touch their legs. I will have them sit flat on the ground with their back up against a wall, and pray. And I will 8/10 times see their short leg begin to grow before their eyes and they usually feel pulling and things shifting without anyone touching or moving anything. And two people in particular I can give you names who needed insoles before because of how short their one leg was, and now t eh don’t need the insert because I ministered this way, and they are healed. So….🤷🏼‍♂️

I want to be kind. But this interview is a joke. Y’all have no backbone. This seems like yall got together before hand and had a strategy meeting about how to rig this interview. And then just bombed it. It’s so bad. Completely useless. You had a perfect opportunity to exhort Todd. And y’all stroked his ego even more. For a man that thinks he’s sinless, does fake false healings constantly and brags about how amazing he is for 2 hours every sermon. Not good.

Are you a believer? Instead of a thumbs down maybe you should pray for him? On your darkest day when God could’ve given you a thumbs down, He didn’t. Why? Because He knows your value and your potential, and didn’t see you for your darkest day, but for a greater day.....just saying, don’t follow after Christians, follow after Christ!

Btw Catholics don’t worship Mary. They honour her, she is the mother of Christ. This is misunderstood a lot. Do you really think Jesus minds if you love and honour his mother? Definitely not. People need to understand this, she is not God, Catholics do not worship her. A lot of people do take her as a mother and that is fine, again trust me Jesus does not mind if you borrow his mother. Think about it this woman was so pure that God chose her to carry his only begotten son, Christ literally grew inside her, she raised him and she knelt at the cross as he gave his life for us. If you need a mother figure you won’t find anyone who is closer to God then her or anyone who loves his son more, because he is her son too!

    • @salgar1234
      @salgar1234 7 месяцев назад

But this is not biblical. How do you know Jesus wouldn’t mind? Why do you say Mary was pure? Mary was a sinner like every single human born dead in our sin and trespasses. Mary didn’t keep the whole law, only Christ did that. Mary was obedient and faithful, but still a sinner who needed Christ as her saviour from the wrath of God. No one is ‘good’ enough to save themselves. It is only Christ and the cross that saves.

Maybe to you. But stories and illustrations are powerful ways of portraying a spiritual truth and principle. It also helps people see what it look likes in real life not just some theoretical knowledge.
Jesus often used parables and stories. Likewise Paul talks about his life and his struggles also. I mean suit yourself, but there is nothing wrong with telling stories.
